If you're not up to speed on your video game designers, Ken Rolston is a name that you might not be familiar with, but with titles like Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion under his belt, it's probably a name you won't forget now.

We caught up with the famed Lead Designer recently to talk about his new project at Big Huge Games, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. We ask Rolston what he brought forward from his time with the Elder Scrolls series, inspirations for his new project, Reckoning's game world and creating an old skool RPG in 2011.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is heading your way sometime in 2012.

  • Nice any project he's attached to has gotta be awesome, definitely getting this :)
  • GOOD NEWS PSN SHOULD BE UP NEXT WEEK. TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY.
  • Well thank you for that Captai Stubing...
  • This guy did a lot of drugs back in the day
  • I don't think I would have ever paid attention to this game if it hadn't been for that entertaining video. Now I might have to give this game a look when it drops.
  • Love how he states that we can get our butts kicked in certain sections and have to come back after some leveling to take them out. Probably my biggest complaint against Elder Scrolls in the past! Still have Skyrim reserved though, and will most likely reserve this one as well. Hope it stays tough!
