Toy maker Mattel and developer Milestone have unveiled a bunch of licensed vehicles for the upcoming Hot Wheels Unleashed, with the game set to feature a total of 66 rides at launch, including some of the best-known die-cast designs from the brand's 53-year history.
Among the licensed cars is the Batmobile, the DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Wagon, a Snoopy car from Peanuts, and K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider. As for the dozens of cars from original manufacturers, you can can expect an expansive range of vehicles, from makes like Ford, Dodge, Honda, Audi, and even Koenigsegg.
Classic cars like the 1932 Ford Deuce and the 1969 Dodge Charger will feature, alongside more modern picks like the Honda S2000, Audi R8 Spyder, and hypercars like the 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko. Further cars will be available to unlock across all of Hot Wheels Unleashed's various game modes, including iconic Hot Wheels originals like 'Boneshaker' and ‘Twin Mill’.
Check out some of the cars you'll find in the Hot Wheels Unleashed garage at launch, below, all of which can be upgraded using the game's Rarity System. This will enable you to collect and take apart in-game vehicles to improve their performance, some upgrades only available through “unique and secret” means.
