Wales Interactive has slapped a release date on its latest interactive FMV game, Night Book, a horror story in which Loralyn, a pregnant translator working from home, is tricked into introducing an “untold evil” into her life.
“Supernatural terror and suspense” ensues as Loralyn (played by French Cyberpunk 2077 and Avenue 5 actor Julie Dray) faces major decisions, with only her ill father in the house keeping her company. Each choice she makes could put her family in grave danger or ensure their safety, with multiple paths and endings to the game's storyline.
Night Book was filmed remotely in lockdown under COVID restrictions, and features a close-quarters filming style with a solid supporting cast that includes Resident Evil, Arrow, and Die Another Day actor Colin Salmon, Man in the High Castle's Akie Kotabe, and Skins actor Siwan Morris.
Promising to deliver an “occult thriller”, Night Book will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and iOS on 27th July. Check out the new trailer below.
