SEGA and developer CyberConnect2 have released a new story trailer for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, showcasing more of the upcoming arena fighter, based upon the anime of the same name.

Playing as eponymous Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado, you'll be seeking to avenge your murdered family and restore your sister Nezuko to human form, after she's transformed into a demon. Ultimately, that means becoming “the blade that destroys demons”, then setting about saving humanity from the monstrous threat the demons pose.

The new trailer shows some gameplay from the Tsuzumi Mansion section of the game, revealing a few of the demons you'll face as Tanjiro. The full game will encompass the anime's 'Unwavering Resolve Arc’ and ‘Mugen Train Arc’ across a range of head-to-head arena battles, playable locally or online, with a range of characters.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on 15th October 2021, while pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game grants early access from 13th October. Check out the latest gameplay trailer below.
