A Plague Tale: Innocence launches on PS5 today, bringing next-gen enhancements to the critically-acclaimed title, and is available to add to your library for free on PS Plus.
This new and enhanced version of Asobo Studio's A Plague Tale: Innocence boasts a resolution up to 4K UHD, with a smooth 60FPS frame rate, as well as faster loading times and overall enhanced visuals and audio. There's no word on extra rats, as yet, but we can only hope - they were so stingy with them in the original release, after all.
The next-gen version of A Plague Tale: Innocence will be available for free for players who own the original game on PS4. For those who missed out the first time, however, the game follows the tale of Amicia and her younger brother, Hugo, as they attempt to survive invading English armies, strange cults, and plague-infested rats in 14th century France. Lots and lots of rats.
