Developer Arc System Works has announced that Guilty Gear -Strive- has shipped an impressive 300,000 copies worldwide since its launch last week, the latest entry in the fighting series a 2D/3D cel-shaded affair, featuring “intense, rewarding gameplay”.
Guilty Gear -Strive- has both a fully voiced cinematic story mode and suite of online modes, with Arc System Works set to support the game with a range of DLCs, updates, and free content, including new characters.
I've never played a guilty gear game, but I visited a friend a few days ago and he had me try this game out. While I didn't care for it enough to personally get it, the game is gorgeous and the combos are quite entertaining to pull off when you do. Good to see it's getting the sales
