Evil Dead: The Game Looks Like Bloody Good Fun in New Gameplay Trailer

Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a brand new gameplay overview trailer for Evil Dead: The Game, and it looks pretty bloody good.

Giving us our first proper look at the asymmetrical horror game based on the iconic world of Evil Dead, with narration by Bruce Campbell himself, the trailer dives into the 4v1 setup of Evil Dead: The Game. A group of four survivors - including iconic characters like Ash Williams, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, Henry the Red, Cheryl Williams, and more - will face off against AI-controller Deadites, in an attempt to banish the Kandaria Demon. Players can discover dozens of weapons, including Ash's Gauntlet, Boomstick, and chainsaw, and level up skill trees to grow stronger.

Meanwhile, another player can become the Kandarian Demon themselves, using its powers of possession to take down the survivors and swallow their souls. Locations in the game are pulled straight from the source material, such as the Knowby cabin, and the game features all new dialogue from Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams.

Evil DEad: The Game is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC later in 2021. You can check out the new trailer down below.

  • Groovy
  • Looks decent, but would've preferred a single-player Evil Dead experience with multiplayer
  • Looks pretty nice, not just a Dead by Daylight clone after all
