Hot Wheels Unleashed Gameplay Takes a Trip to College

Richard Walker

Milestone has unveiled the latest environment for Hot Wheels Unleashed, following the previous Garage and Skyscraper locations. This one takes the toy-based racing action to an all-American College Campus, where you can build your twisting plastic orange tracks from the main hallway, to the other parts of the college.

Hot Wheels Unleashed's College Campus will enable you to build your courses throughout the library, the classroom, and the chemistry lab, connecting through different rooms or going via the ventilation shafts. You can check out the College Campus environment in the new trailer below.

In the gameplay video, you can also see six new vehicles cherry-picked from the world-famous die-cast toy brand, with the Street Wiener, Total Disposal, Power Rocket, Skull Crusher, Tanknator, Winning Formula, and Exotique among the 60+ vehicles that will be included in the base game, all customisable with various skins.

Hot Wheels Unleashed will be releasing for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC on 30th September 2021, with vehicles of different rarity levels, pre-made tracks to race on, and a Track Editor that enables you to create and share your own courses using special track pieces and interactive items.

  • This kind of has an F Zero feel to it. I like it.
  • Although HotWheels are nice, it still looks kinda boring to me. Feels like they can do more with this
