Capcom has announced that Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection is coming soon to PS4.

The brand new title in the classic platforming series released as a Nintendo Switch exclusive back in February this year, but now no one is safe from the fun and frustration, with the game coming soon to consoles and PC.

Putting players back into the shining armour (and spotted boxer shorts) of Arthur, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection will have you fighting through zones in the Demon REalm to rescue the princess. The game features eight different weapons, including the classic Lance and new additions like the Hammer and Spiked Ball, which you’ll need to master to take on deadly bosses such as the Cyclops or Cerberus.

Local co-op is also included, allowing one player to play as Arthur, while the other takes the form of one of three supporting characters, each with their own useful abilities. Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection keeps the series trademark high challenge, but adds new difficulty options if you’re not quite as patient as you were in your youth. Yeah, I'm talking to you (and also me). You can see it all in the trailer below.

Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection arrives “soon” on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and is available on Nintendo Switch now.

  • This looks really good. Was thinking about picking it up for Nintendo Switch when it launched the other month but didn't get around to it. Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts was one of my favorite SNES games.

Terrified of the trophy list though!
  • @dreadnaught_ you and I both. That trophy list is gonna be easily hard. The games in the past were dumb difficult. I can't imagine it won't be the same here. I'm up for the challenge though.
  • @dreadnaught_ - Oh man! Super Ghouls n' Ghost..., bring back the random memories of rage and discontent for a game I loved and hated equally! So good and so fun, yet so punishing, lol.

Keeping my eyes on this one!
  • Yes, yes and YES. This is one game where I look forward to playing it, but I won't even care about the trophies because I know in advance there's no way in hell I'll ever platinum it. But in this case, I just want it for the experience and challenge in just beating it.
