Headup Games has announced that Pumpkin Jack will finally be releasing for PlayStation 4 next week, having previously been slated for the more fitting Halloween period. The game released for other platforms back in October 2020, but was held up on PS4 for some reason.
Inspired by PlayStation icons like MediEvil and Jak & Daxter, Pumpkin Jack is a 3D platformer cast in a similar mould, developed using Unreal Engine 4 by solo creator Nicolas Meyssonier. As the titular Jack, you'll be able to leap, dodge, and carve a path through tricky enemies and puzzles, as well as speeding along rails aboard mine carts.
Jack also has a trusty owl friend for ranged attacks, aiding you in your quest to take on the Devil himself, in an epic journey across the mythical Kingdom of Arc En Ciel. Pumpkin Jack will be coming to PlayStation 4 on 24th February, priced $29.99/£24.99 - check out the game in the PS4 trailer below.
