SEGA has announced Endless Dungeon, a new sci-fi tactical roguelite from Amplitude Studios.
This is a new title in the “Endless” series, which has also included Endless Space and Endless Legend, and sees a team of heroes shipwrecked on a mysterious and monster-infested space station. This isn't to be confused with the developer's 2014 release Dungeon of the Endless, although it seems like there may be some similarities between the two of them.
“Fans of our previous game Dungeon of the Endless might want to know: Shipwrecked, again? Is this a sequel? Well, the answer is both yes and no. You’ll just have to wait to get your hands on it to find out,” said Amplitude Studios.
Players should expect a brand new story in the Endless universe as you create a team of three heroes from a roster of peculiar characters and attempt to reach the station's core without getting eaten/obliterated/killed etc, all the while attempting to protect a crystal that you have to bring with you at all times. Players can control the entire squad by themselves or team up with friends in multiplayer.
Endless Dungeon is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC, although we've not got a release date yet. You can check out the announcement trailer down below!
