Ahead of its launch next week, THQ Nordic has released a new Chronos: Before the Ashes trailer, offering the lowdown on the upcoming prequel to Remnant: From the Ashes. Developed by Gunfire Games, the next entry in the action RPG saga will see you facing new challenges, mysterious, and dangers within the Labyrinth.
Emerging unscathed will mean studying the behaviour of your enemies, wielding a variety of weapons, abilities, and powers during your fraught quest. Each time your character dies in Chronos: Before the Ashes, they'll age a year, forcing you to adapt to your advancing age while progressing through the game. While early on you'll be a young, lithe character, by the end you may be frail and old, but wiser and more attuned to magic.
Chronos: Before the Ashes is due to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Stadia on 1st December, promising atmospheric RPG adventuring in which the hero will embark upon a lifelong quest to rid their homeland of a great evil.
