Developer Cradle Games and publisher tinyBuild have announced that Hellpoint, the dark sci-fi Soulsike action RPG released earlier this year, will be heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S next year, with a crop of next-gen enhancements.
Hellpoint for next-gen will come with a choice of two visual modes - Performance Mode, with Dynamic 4K at 60 frames per second, or Quality Mode with Native 4K at 30 frames per second on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X - as well as faster loading times.
Hellpoint will be playable on next-gen consoles from day one via backward compatibility with an upcoming 'unlock framerate' patch, while the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version is due to roll out in 2021. A free upgrade from the PS4 to PS5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S versions will be available, too.
