Hotshot Racing, the upcoming retro-style arcade racer from Lucky Mountain Games and Sumo Nottingham, is due to launch in September. Inspired by retro greats like OutRun, Daytona USA, Virtua Racing, and others, Hotshot Racing is a throwback to classic 90s racing titles, albeit one made for the modern era.
Featuring sharp low-poly visuals, Hotshot Racing runs at 60 frames per second on all platforms, includes single-player championships, 8-player online modes, and local split-screen play for up to 4 players. "Hotshot Racing is sure to appeal to both veteran racers and those looking for a more casual pick-up and play experience," the latest press release reads.
Hotshot Racing will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 10th September, priced $19.99/£15.99/€19.99. It'll offer classic Time Trial and Grand Prix modes, alongside Cops and Robbers and Drive or Explode modes, across 16 circuits. Check out the release date trailer below.
