Special by virtue of being a sports game on a biennial release schedule, EA's UFC series has steadily grown with each iteration, the extra year in development ensuring a fairly consistent quality since its inception in 2014. While it's a shame that EA's Fight Night remains dormant, the UFC games have managed to fill the void to some extent.

Now, like clockwork, two years on from EA Sports UFC 3, the fourth instalment is here, packing a revamped Career Mode and the Knockout Mode Kumite, as well as the ability to throwdown in a backyard. Ultimate Team and Joe Rogan's commentary may be gone for this one, but has EA Sports UFC 4 still got it where it counts?
