Call of Duty: Warzone's Bunker Doors Can Now Be Opened

Matt Lorrigan

Call of Duty: Warzone's mysterious bunker doors are finally opening, after remaining firmly locked shut since the game launched in March.

If you've been playing a decent amount of Warzone in the last month or so, you may have found a Red Access Card dropping from legendary crates, and thought it would finally open those blasted blast doors. However, until Infinity Ward's latest patch yesterday, the card did nothing. However, the Red Access Card can now be used to gain entry into the bunker.

What treasure awaits those who find their way in? Currently, just a single underground bunker with a load of loot crates, and more excitingly, another locked door. Doors within doors within doors, how deep does this bunker go? Like Alice in Wonderland, we're sure player will be desperate to go down the rabbit hole, and the latest patch notes give us a hint of what to expect next.

"Number station <redacted> is Protocol Yellow. Activate <redacted> system. <redacted> is inbound. Awaiting correct authorization."

So, we're thinking a Yellow Access Card next, to get through the next set of doors? We're not sure what could be so impressive as to be hidden behind a series of doors that may take months to unlock, but as always, the journey is likely to be more fun than the conclusion.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
