Daymare: 1998, a third-person survival horror title inspired by "classic" examples of the genre like Resident Evil 4, is set to hit consoles in April, following a successful release on PC.

"After seeing the positive feedback Daymare: 1998 has been receiving on PC, we’re excited to be able to bring this game to console players," said Invader Studios' Business Development Director Michele Giannone. "And seeing our game on the shelves of retail stores is just a dream come true. Hope everybody will enjoy their visit to Keen Sight."

Designed to be played with a controller, Daymare: 1998 promises to deliver responsive third-person action in which you'll do battle against a horde of "bloodthirsty monsters". Nothing will be sacrificed from the original PC version on console either, the developer states.

Daymare: 1998 will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in both Europe and the Americas on 28th April 2020, with a PS4-exclusive retail version heading to store shelves on the same date.

  • Looks cool!
  • what a terrible time to launch. resident evil 3 remake will eat up most of its sales.
  • @2...like that's gonna hurt it, It's been out for on the PC for a while.
  • The voice acting is horrible and the character/facial animations (or lack thereof) are atrocious but the game actually looks really fun. I'll probably pick this up at some point.
  • @2 Unless u dont have enough money and are choosing between those 2 games most RE fans will just get both. Plus most games that arent triple A nowadays make most of their money on sales and not at launch.
