Rainbow Six Quarantine Could Be Out Before April 2020

As Rainbow Six Siege continues to attract players thanks to its competitive squad-based shenanigans, Rainbow Six Quarantine will be looking to court players in search of co-operative PvE action, targeting a release date prior to the end of Ubisoft's financial year.

That's according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot (via Game Informer), stating that Rainbow Six Quarantine is on course to release before April 2020, as the company's fiscal year runs through 31st March. Presumably that means that the upcoming 3-player PvE shooter could be setting a course for January or February.

Traditionally, Ubi tends to launch a game in February, like Far Cry New Dawn earlier this year, so tagging Rainbow Six Quarantine for a similar release window seems sensible. Guillemot added that Quarantine will feature "the proven gameplay of Rainbow Six Siege Outbreak," the March 2018 limited-time alien shooting event for R6 Siege.
