Warner Bros. has today announced the Scribblenauts Mega Pack, bundling two full Scribblenauts games alongside bonus content. Both Scribblenauts Unlimited and Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure will be included in the Mega Pack, which is due for release this September.

Scribblenauts Unlimited features nigh-on endless "creativity, exploration and social elements" for players of all ages, with a huge side-scrolling open world to explore as Maxwell, solving puzzles and challenges by drawing any object you can imagine to life. For the Mega Pack, the game has been updated with two bonus levels, the ability to share user-created objects online, a revamped 2-player mode, and a new easy-to-use 'sunflower' text entry system.

You can also battle sky pirates in the new Zed Zeppelin level or drive around in a candy car in the Land of Sweet Hyperbole stage. Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure, meanwhile, adds thousands of DC characters and objects, as Maxwell fights alongside heroes like Batman, Superman and the rest of the Justice League, taking on the likes of the Joker, Lex Luthor, and Sinestro.

Summoning various heroes and tools to foil the DC villains' schemes using Maxwell's magic notebook, you'll venture to iconic locations like Gotham City, Metropolis, Atlantis, and two newly added bonus locations, Titans Tower under attack by fearsome demon Trigon, and Task Force X base, Belle Reve. In the Scribblenauts Mega Pack, Unmasked has also been updated with hundreds of new DC characters, objects and costumes.

The Scribblenauts Mega Pack will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on 18th September for $29.99/£24.99 or your regional equivalent.

  • nice! i have Scribblenauts Unlimited on the wii u, but it's nice that they put this on the ps4, can't wait to pick this up.
  • I loved Unlimited on Wii U, just never finished it. $30 is a great price for both! I can't wait to see what the 2-player mode is like, the original's was boring. It'd be nice to play with my fiancee and him actually enjoy it rather than playing as random stuff.
  • same, never completed it either, now at least i get a second chance to do so.
  • This is great news! I loved this format of Scribblenauts and was upset that Showdown didn't follow it. I'm looking forward to finally trying this game thoroughly, last time I played it was when I tried it on my sisters DS.
