Following the relatively lukewarm reception to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, it looks like Infinity Ward's next CoD could be Modern Warfare 4, if two separate sources who've both come to the same conclusion are to be believed. Furthermore, the 2019 Call of Duty could also include a battle royale mode, like Black Ops 4.
The first rumour comes vua GamingIntel, stating that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is in development "as you'd expect it to be if it's out next year), and could boast a full, traditional campaign (unlike Black Ops 4), as well as multiplayer and Zombies.
CharlieIntel reports much the same too, with rumours originating following news that some key developers who departed Infinity Ware back in 2010 to join Titanfall studio Respawn have come back to the Call of Duty studio to lend their hand to the series again.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launched back in 2011 and apparently marked the end of the Modern Warfare trilogy However, with Black Ops going for a fourth chapter on 12th October, and Modern Warfare proving consistently lucrative, resurrecting the name does sound incredibly plausible.
