Bigben Interactive and Neocore have announced that Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr has been pushed into June, despite originally being planned for release on 11th May. The delay comes "in order to offer players the best gaming experience possible and to ensure seamless gameplay", according to the announcement.

The team behind The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing has been working on Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor for the past three years, so no doubt the few extra weeks afforded by the delay will contribute to polishing up the forthcoming action RPG title; the first Warhammer 40K title to tackle the genre.

In Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, you'll play as an Inquisitor in the Caligari Sector, a region overrun with heretics, mutants and Chaos Daemons. The campaign will be playable solo, in local co-op with 2-players or with up to 4-players online, offering the Assassin, Crusader and Psyker classes to choose from.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr will now be launching on 5th June 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can find out more about the game in the video below.

  • Damb was really looking forward for this game
  • So was I. I have been for ages. I had even said God Of War will have to wait. Seriously, I have my doubts whether it'll ever come out! I'm usually one who says "let them delay it, to make it great", but this is getting ridiculous.
