They say it's a jungle out there. The same rings true in Assassin's Creed Origins' world, its version of 49BCE Ancient Egypt teeming with wildlife, some of it passive, some of it aggressive, dangerous and violent, like the gargantuan war elephant in the image above.

While we haven't encountered a war elephant yet, we did come across a diverse array of animals in Assassin's Creed Origins, and we've managed to pare what we did see down to seven majestic creatures. What could they be, we hear you cry? You can find out in the video below.

Come with us on a wondrous safari across the deserts, through the wetlands and beyond, with David Attenborough's twin brother Billy Attenborough* as your guide. Assassin's Creed Origins launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 27th October, and you can watch our previous gameplay video here.

*David Attenborough doesn't really have a twin brother called Billy.

  • So the second the oversaturation of Middle-Earth ads ends, Origins is going to swoop in and fill the void?
  • The narrator's annoying, but cool video. There better be cats since they were considered sacred!
  • @2 - Thanks. I'm glad you thought the narration was annoying.
  • @2 nah, narration was funny. I gave it a thumbs-up. @3 take criticism silently. Otherwise you'll poison the well, only receive biased critiques, and never improve.
  • The narrator sounds like Oobleck from RWBY but slower.
  • @4 - Thanks for the advice :)
  • @3 You’re far from the worst I’ve heard.
  • @7 - Hehehe, thank you. I might rethink the bad David Attenborough impression next time, though. =P
  • @8 I liked it though, I found it funny.
  • @8 - It's a big raspy. I don't think you have the natural tones to pull it off.
