NBA 2K18: The Prelude will be rolling out this Friday, serving up a free demo to take for a spin that acts as a primer for the full game's MyPlayer career mode. In The Prelude, you can cut your teeth in NBA 2K18's 'The Neighborhood', before carrying on with your progress in the full version.
The Neighborhood is NBA 2K18's "groundbreaking new way to play" the game, bringing together the "most loved" elements in the NBA 2K series in a shared world where you can experience the life of an NBA athlete, on and off the court. You can get a look at what to expect from The Prelude in the trailer below.
You'll be able to download NBA 2K18: The Prelude for free from Friday 8th September for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, ahead of Early Tip-Off for anyone pre-ordering the full game on 15th September. The game will be launching for all other players on 19th September 2017.
