South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a "Visceral Farting Experience" - Interview

See that image up there? That's South Park: The Fractured But Whole's "visceral farting experience" in action; just one of the new features that you'll see in the Stick of Truth sequel when it launches later this year. Enabling you to manipulate your butt cheeks and "shape" your farts, it's potentially revolutionary.

We had a chat with developer Ubisoft San Francisco about how such a game-changing mechanic came about, as well as the input that South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have had when it comes to the new game, how the grid-based combat came to be, and loads more.

Like, for instance, how the studio is approaching possible censorship in light of cuts to the European version of the previous game, and what goes on during a creative meeting. Check out the full interview below for the skinny on South Park: The Fractured But Whole, due to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 17th October 2017.

  • Please Don't Censorship content like in TSOT, the main reason i played it was for that sort of humour, can't really get it anywhere else
  • Don't care about this game anymore. Should have been released already
  • #2 then why are you commenting about a game you dont care about
  • @2, I'd rather a game be delayed and fixed rather than rushed and a complete mess.
