The free trial version of Keen Games' sandbox action RPG, Portal Knights, has gone live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today, giving you the chance to delve into the game before it launches in full next month. Through the trial, you can learn the basics of combat and crafting, while exploring its colourful world.
Featuring the first island, Squire's Knoll, to traverse in single-player or 2-player split-screen co-op with a buddy, the Portal Knights free trial also includes the character creator, wherein you can choose to be warrior, ranger or mage class, assigning their attribute points and talents. You can even find a pet for your hero, who'll follow you around.
The Portal Knights free trial is available now to download via the PlayStation Store, and you can port your progress across to the full version of the game when it launches for PS4 and Xbox One on 19th May in Europe and 23rd May in North America, priced $19.99/£15.99.
