Publisher Microids has announced that Paul Cuisset, the creative force behind Flashback and Future Wars, will be releasing his new adventure game, Subject 13, next week on console. Subject 13 is described as an adventure game "in its greatest tradition", with hidden secrets, enigmas to unravel and complex mechanisms to discover.
Subject 13 sees you playing as physics professor Franklin Fargo, who after driving into a lake, awakens in a subterranean scientific facility, with a voice that calls him 'Subject 13' calling the shots. Franklin's goal is to escape the facility and find out why he's being held captive.
"I worked hard to create an adventure game that honours the traditional style of past games in this genre," says Cuisset. "I wanted to place players in a shadowy and scientific complex with puzzles and challenges that progressively get more difficult as they get closer to uncovering the mysteries behind the game, and I can’t wait for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers to experience the adventure when it releases next week."
Subject 13 will be available for digital download on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 20th December, priced $6.99.
