And by playable, they of course mean you can play the tutorial level and then sit at a screen telling you to wait for the rest of the game to download for hours because PSN's downloads are capped at a speed way too slow to ever make this feature useful.Tuesday, October 04, 2016 @ 11:18 AM

I have Google Fiber and it took hours to download the Battlefield beta and downloads in general are not much faster than when I just had 100 Mb Time Warner. The issue is on the PSN end.Tuesday, October 04, 2016 @ 03:58 PM
@3 i have fiber Op 95 Down 55 up i use to download games crazy fast a couple GB's would download in a hour ( i'm talking higher then 15 gb's i can't tell exact number ) then after some sorta update not sure which one ... it slowed down ... 5 min for a 1 GB download isn't very quick really. But generally I don't even see those speeds. I've noticed patches generally download quicker at a faster rate than games themselves, unless it's a day one patch for a AAA game I've bought on release day. Some less common games like WRC or big files like NBA2K will time out after awhile. Even with 1Gbps speeds I have now. Thanks to Youtubers that got access to an early copy of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered on PS4, we know the overall file size of the title.
The game is supposed to go live on October 5th, but that hasn't stopped people uploading clips of the content to Youtube already.
The PS4 file size rocks in at 39.18GB. That seems large for just the campaign - the only part of the game playable until the main launch of Infinite Warfare on November 4th - but it's likely the whole package is being downloaded ahead of time.

We recently reported that the Remaster will require the Infinite Warfare disc to run if you're buying physically, too, much to the chagrin of some buyers.
Infinite Warfare on releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 4th.
