Batman: Return to Arkham HD Collection Crops Up Again

The Dark Knight's not doing a very good job at hiding, as the Batman: Return to Arkham HD Collection (as it's been dubbed) has been spotted once again in yet another retail listing, this time at GameStop Italy. The evidence appears to be mounting for this one.

First rumoured back in March, a previous listing also leaked in April by GameStop pointed to a 10th June release for the collection, which reportedly brings together Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, remastered and optimised for PS4 and Xbox One with 1080p visuals, and bundled with all of the DLC for both games.

Still, Warner Bros. Interactive still has yet to officially announce or even tease anything on Batman: Return to Arkham HD Collection, if that's what it turns out to be called. Perhaps a reveal will be forthcoming later this month, if that mooted 10th June release date turns out to be kosher. Watch this space.

  • If WB think they're getting £45 for this they're living in fantasy world.
  • I know Origins isn't exactly the most popular in the series but it seems kinda lazy to not include it.
  • DAY ONE i want to replay this masterpiece again
  • This only reminds me that I have yet to go back and finish Arkham Knight on hard and dive into all that DLC I picked up on sale=/ So much to play, so little time;-(
  • #2 @Jpyo Origins wasn't made by Rocksteady. This is a collection of Rocksteady's games.
  • Why not bundle Arkham Knight with it too to complete the trilogy?
  • @5 that's irrelevant it's still considered part of the same series, and deserves to be treated as such people just keep using that as an excuse, and guess what? it's not exactly working and @6 i will say this only one last time it's a quadralogy get it right
  • @7, no, it isnt irrelevant. Different developer, different license. It's not an excuse, it's a (legitmate) reason. You cant just add one party's property to the group without knowing what goes on behind the scenes. For all you know, Rocksteady and the guys that did Origins despise each other. and just because YOU say it's a quadrilogy doesnt make it so, so drop the attitude dude. Does Origins even have any direct connections or references to the Rocksteady games aside from "it's Batman"?
  • @9 Origins can't have many references other than loctations and characters cause you know it's a prequel. But Knight has many references to origins, from anarchy and electracutioner in the gcpd archieves, the blackgate breakouts, and deathstroke and firefly looking exactly the same as they did in origins. As for license that shouldn't matter since it's still the batman license published by wb and dc.

  • @9 - ok, so if Knight references Origins (I haven't played either yet), then I would assume Rocksteady gave the nod to WB Montreal (unless it's just a professional courtesy?) and it's not a licensing issue, maybe it's because it wasnt as critically acclaimed as Asylum & City? Who knows. It is a pity though
