Neocore Games has released the first 'Inquisitorial Log' for Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, offering a look at the game's destruction, in a world where there is only war. That means kinetic weapons will tear chunks out of walls, while some will completely vaporise entire sections of an area.
"Our goal is to faithfully evoke the atmosphere of the violent 41st millennium; environmental destruction plays a very important role in that," says Neocore. Martyr's destruction system is part and parcel in making players feel like they're fighting a real war.
Destruction in Martyr goes beyond just the cosmetic, however, as you can chip away your enemy's cover, and your foes can blast away your cover too, adding an extra layer of tactics to the game's action RPG gameplay. Check out the trailer below to find out more.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is set to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2016.
This sounds great, but Relic just announced Dawn of War III. That must be a game I have been waiting longest for a sequel too. So super happy about that. This will be a nice filler in the meantime=)
