Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Interview: Jean-Francois Boivin Talks ACB, Desmond & Short Dev Cycles

Dan Webb

Over the weekend we've been bringing you the best of our Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood interview with Brotherhood's Associate Producer, Jean-Francois Boivin. Up until now we've focused on the new brotherhood mechanics and the game's multiplayer. Today, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and the AC franchise come into the spotlight as we talk about the improvements that the 2010 sequel will bring to franchise.

Will the one year development cycle mean we're destined to receive Assassin's Creed 2.5? How the hell can they make a sequel for a triple-A franchise in a year? All these questions and more are answered in our concluding episode of our three part interview.

According to Boivin, Ubisoft Montreal are going to start closing a few doors in the franchise and go some way to explaining the bizarre ending that we experienced in Assassin's Creed 2... If that's even possible!

  • Pretty interesting, looking forward to it. PS. First! lol
  • Can't wait
  • Wait where is the PS3 version of the interview?
  • @#3 - It's a multiplatform game...
  • so worried about the ending, please dont do some freaky mayan calenadar explosion shit :S
  • yeh AC2 ending is random
  • No its not. Hell, they even mentioned kinda what the ending was going to be about in the beginning of the freaking game. You know, the part where Lucy won't answer any of Desmond's questions? Then at the end, she explains pretty much the entire thing. Very easy to understand, and not very random IMO.
