Surprising actually. Alot of people been saying they're bored of AC or just waiting for next gen version. Wasn't expecting it to beat BF4

In the head-to-head fight between Battlefield 4 and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (and by extension EA and Ubisoft) there could be only one winner. But really, that winer is a cheat.
Assassin’s Creed IV has entered the UK charts at number one, ahead of Battlefield 4, thanks largely to the head start it gained by releasing on a Tuesday.
Neither title performed as well as its predecessor, however, each of which was the week one best-selling game in its respective series. The next-gen split in effect, perhaps?
Elsewhere, Batman: Arkham Origins drops to fourth place, WWE 2K14 enters at number six, while Angry Birds Star Wars could only manage to slip into 30th place. Get the full chart below.
