Loved his books. Patriot Games was so much better than the film. RIPWednesday, October 02, 2013 @ 12:16 PM
My love of the military/espionage genre was started by Mr. Tom Clancy, with my first book being The Hunt for Red October. I subsequently ended up playing the Commodore 64 and Amiga videogame versions, which was my first of a long list of Clancy games that I would end up playing on PC/game consoles. With the plethora of military fiction writers out there, Mr. Clancy will be very much missed. He brought something to the genre that most others only were able to accomplish. R.I.P.Wednesday, October 02, 2013 @ 12:20 PM
