Activision and Rovio have announced that the outrageously successful Angry Birds Star Wars is to make its way to consoles later this year, with new levels, unique design elements including PlayStation Move support and multiplayer modes.
According to Rovio, Angry Birds Star Wars has been "downloaded more than 100 million times since its release last year," making it something of a no-brainer to bring it to consoles, especially given Angry Birds Trilogy making the jump last year too.
Angry Birds Star Wars will include 20 never-before-seen levels in addition to the 200 from the original game, new multiplayer modes including 2-player co-op, a 4-player competitive mode, leaderboards and upgraded HD visuals. It'll be available for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe. Check out the announcement vid below.
