It looks like Project Aces and Namco Bandai could be teasing a new Ace Combat game, if a message on the developer's site under the banner of 'new title' and a fresh trademark application for 'Ace Combat: Infinity' [uncovered on NeoGAF by Gematsu] is any kind of an indication.
Namco Bandai applied for the Ace Combat: Infinity trademark yesterday, at the same time the message emerged on Project Ace's site. The message reads: "That day our sky fell, the heavens split to create new skies." Yep, that sounds like some Ace Combat-style babble alright.
It seems that the probability of this being a new Ace Combat game is pretty strong, especially since the last instalment in the series was 2011's Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. Two years on is high time for a new Ace Combat, don't ya think?
What #1 said. Spawn more Demons of Razgriz! And more Razgriz-GAMEPLAY! I enjoyed AH for sure, but it wasn't NEARLY as fun as AC4 (if that's the Razgriz-game).
#2, that particular game was AC5. I truly hope that the gameplay mechanics of AC: AH are shot down, and that we see a glorious return to the gameplay of AC04, 5, and 0 (including 6, as well). And yes, a return to "StrangeReal World" for the AC series would be concentrated awesomeness as well...
Ah, thanks. I actually cared for the story in that one (Belkan war not so much). Yeah, go back to that gameplay and quality of story with a PS3-engine and I might actually pre-order something for once.
