Metal: Hellsinger's next DLC pack will be adding in licensed music for the first time.
The upcoming Essential Hits Pack will be adding in eight new songs to the game, which promise to be “chart-topping hits from some of the biggest bands in the world”, according to publisher Funcom. The songs will also be pulled from a “variety of genres”, meaning we'll likely be getting more than heavy metal music here.
“Soon, the demon hordes of the Hells will learn to fear the familiar beat of chart-topping hit songs from a variety of genres; the mosh pit welcomes all,” says the official announcement.
“For veteran Hellsingers, it’s a chance to see the Hells in a new light and slay to the beat of an even wider range of music, much of it unfamiliar to the ears of demons.”
While Funcom has yet to announce exactly which songs are coming to the game, the tracklist will be announced in the coming weeks ahead of launch. The Essential Hits Pack will launch for Metal: Hellsinger on 13th June 2023.
