Is it safe to assume that the Master Collection will have trophies for all the games?
I recently decided to start playing through MGS2-4 on PS3, and I wanted to platinum all of them. If they're going to release them all (including the first one) on a PS5 collection, I have to wonder if it's even worth doing it on a PS3 now.Wednesday, May 24, 2023 @ 04:58 PM

They became mandatory for "new" games. The only games in the Master Collection that came out after trophies became mandatory are the HD Collection MGS2 and MGS3. Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2 and Metal Gear Solid never had trophies and, as far as I've been able to gather, none of these games are remasters, therefore not qualifying as "new" games. They're just the classic games made available for new consoles.

Voice actor better be "guyver unit guy" or else... konami should not get away with that... (i dont even play metal gear i just want that guy to be the voice) the original voice actor is always the best...

Konami has officially announced the rumoured Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake, which seems to differentiate itself from the 2004 original, by dropping the number in the title in favour of a triangle (turns out its a Delta symbol). To be fair, it does have three sides, which we're guessing is the thinking here.
Confirmed for PS5, the Snake Eater remake will be preceded by the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection, which offers the original three games - Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - on PlayStation 5, so you can get yourself caught up.
We'll have the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake trailer for you as soon as it's available, but until then, here's an image from the teaser of Naked Snake in a swamp. JUST LOOK AT HIM. [Update: you'll now find the announcement trailer below].
