@2 As far as what’s shown in the first couple games, no. The only time the symbiote shows up in those games are in mid-credits cutscenes
The trailers for this look really good, I can’t wait to play it. Though if they’re only saying “Fall 2023” at this point in the year, I highly doubt that this will come out in September (MAYBE in the last few days of Sept, if at all)Wednesday, May 24, 2023 @ 09:39 PM
Trailer was amazing. The AI fodder looked a bit passive in the first bit of combat near the opening house, but I assume that was just for the trailer.

Insomniac Games has just released a blistering new gameplay trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, confirming that Kraven the Hunter will be making his way to New York City to stalk the webslingers - Peter Parker and Miles Morales.
The gameplay picks up with Parker in the alien symbiote suit, succumbing to his darker, aggressive tendencies, as he protects Dr. Curt Connors from Kraven's band of Hunter henchmen and henchwomen. Together, Miles and Peter join forces, chasing down a rampaging Lizard, as Kraven's Hunters track him.
It's a truly spectacular set-piece, which sees the two Spideys following a trail of destruction down the Hudson River, switching between Peter and Miles' perspective as events unfold. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be coming to PS5 in ‘fall 2023’ (rumoured for September), with Venom also among the game's villains.
