Front Mission 1st: Remake, a new version of the tactical turn-based RPG first released in 1995, is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC later this month. Developed by Forever Entertainment, the remake launched for Nintendo Switch last November, and is finally on its way to other platforms.
Set in the year 2090, First Mission places you at the centre of a conflict waged by colossal mechs known as Wanzers. You'll head to Huffman Island, where a shared land border between the Oceania Cooperative Union and the United Continental States serves as the epicentre of the war.
The remake includes “refreshed” graphics and a re-orchestrated soundtrack, as well as “a meticulously crafted narrative that surprises at every turn”, and the turn-based combat and battle system synonymous with the long-running series.
You'll get to pilot your Wanzer and march into battle when Front Mission 1st: Remake launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on 30th June, priced $34.99/€34.99, with a 10% discount available until 12th July.
