With Dragon's Dogma 2 on for a March 2024 release, Capcom has also shared details on the game's pre-order incentives, which include a variety of digital items to help give you a leg up during your journey across the game's two nations.

Pre-ordering Dragon's Dogma 2 will grant access to a bonus weapon for each of the game's starting vocations, while pre-orders of the Deluxe Edition will also include the ‘Ring of Assurance’ in-game accessory. As for the Deluxe Edition itself, you can grab that for $79.99, and get the ‘New Journey Pack’ DLC.

This includes a custom ‘Explorer’s Camping Kit', a Wakestone, 1,500 Rift Crystals to “spend beyond the Rift”, a Dragon's Dogma ‘Music and Sound Collection’, and several other helpful in-game items shown in the Deluxe Edition image below.

Among the four starting vocations for your character is the new ‘Trickster Vocation’, enabling your Arisen to create illusions through the smoke formed by its unique ‘Censer’ weapon. You can turn illusions against foes to manipulate them, and temporarily raise the power of your Pawns beyond their limits. The Warrior and Sorcerer Vocations also return from the original game.

In Dragon's Dogma 2 you'll take up arms as the Arisen, journeying through a parallel world comprising two nations, each facing a dragon threat. While Queen Regant Disa has a false Arisen helping maintain control over Vermund, the beastren nation of Battahl believe Pawns to be a source of misfortune. As such, they've turned to worshipping the Lambent Flame and their empress Nadinia.

You'll encounter various unique regions, like the reclusive elven enclave of Sacred Arbor, and face fearsome enemies like the colossal bronze golem Talos, able to wreak destruction with a single step. Headless spectre Dullahan and draconic fire-breathing Drakes are also among the dangerous foes you'll run into.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 22nd March 2024.
