Diablo IV Gets a Post-Launch Hotfix With Changes to the Sorcerer and Rogue Classes

With Diablo IV now available via early access with the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions, Blizzard has rolled out the game's first post-launch update, tweaking the Sorcerer and Rogue classes, among other things.

The update is a modest one, but offers a handful of meaningful changes, including adjustments to monster health values in later World Tiers, and changes to the Sorcerer's ‘Flame Shield Enchantment’, and the Rogue's ‘Inner Sight’ class specialisations.

You can take a look at the patch notes below. Diablo IV launches for all players on 6th June, while Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition owners can dive in now.

Diablo IV Update:

Sorcerer
Class Specialization

Flame Shield Enchantment

  • When Flame Shield is initially equipped into an Enchantment slot, it’s placed on full cooldown.

Rogue
Class Specialization

Inner Sight

  • After Inner Sight’s unlimited Energy expires, there will be a 4 second delay before another enemy becomes marked.

Items
Shout Skill Cooldown Reduction

  • This affix will no longer appear on items.

Miscellaneous

  • Monster health values have been increased in later World Tiers.

Diablo IV is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, with support for cross-play and cross-progression.
