Team17 and developer Absolutely Games have announced Classified: France '44, a tactical turn-based title set during World War II, inspired by the untold story of the Jedburghs - a group of Allied special forces dropped behind enemy lines.
Working alongside disparate Resistance groups across Northern France during the months before the D-Day landings in Normandy, you'll engage in “evolutionary” turn-based gameplay, which places an emphasis on using stealth to successfully complete missions.
Classified: France ‘44 includes an overwatch ability that presents numerous tactical options, and a morale-based combat and suppression system that makes every shot matter. Employing flanking manoeuvres and smart stealth play, the game’s enemy encounters are designed to replicate real-world military strategy.
Boasting a non-linear and replayable campaign, in which you'll manage a growing squad and face difficult dilemmas, Classified: France '44 is due to release later this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
