The studio most recently worked alongside other developers under the Activision umbrella on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, although Sledgehammer Games served as the lead developer.

Having opened a new studio in Spain earlier this year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 developer Infinity Ward is expanding once again. The studio has now opened offices in Austin, Texas, with staff wanted to work on Call of Duty.
