Larian Studios has lifted the lid on the physical Deluxe Edition of Baldur's Gate 3, scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2024. Pre-orders are live now, and, as you'd expect, the Deluxe Edition bundles the game on a “f*** ton of discs,” according to the developer.
"We understand the value of physical media, and while there are clearly increasingly significant challenges when it comes to the archiving of games, we truly believe it's worth experimenting, even if it means a f*** ton of discs," remarked Director of Publishing Michael Douse of Baldur's Gate 3's physical release.
The Deluxe Edition will include a copy of Baldur's Gate 3 for PS5 on two discs, the original soundtrack on three CDs, a Mind Flayer poster, two patches, 32 stickers, a world map, and a Deluxe Edition box. Larian also assures that this physical release isn't a collector's edition, and will be restocked. No need to make a Baldur dash for your copy.
