Introduction:
Zombie Army Trilogy is a third-person action shooter developed by Rebellion Developments, who are also responsible for developing the Sniper Elite series. The Zombie Army Trilogy was originally released as DLC for Sniper Elite V2 on the PC and was called Nazi Zombie Army. The game is set during World War II, where Hitler has released a legion of undead super soldiers that threaten to overrun all of Europe. Sniper Elite and Zombie Army Trilogy are near enough the same so if you have played any of the Sniper Elite games, you will be familiar with the gameplay (stuff like the bullet cam and the layout of the controls).

The game sees you play through 15 campaign missions set over three episodes, as well as a Wave based mode called Horde Mode. The campaign can be completed in about 10 hours, if you are doing it on Co-op mode with 2-4 players. The trophy list is similar to other Sniper Elite games with a mix of story related, difficulty, kill related and online co-op.

Glitches
There was a glitch were you could not unlock the last gold bar but as of April 20th this has been patched. More information here: LINK

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through the campaign on Sniper Elite difficulty

In this first step, you're going to complete the campaign on the hardest difficulty setting (Sniper Elite). For the most part this difficulty is not very challenging and you should get through the levels pretty easily. If at any point you are struggling you can play in online co-op mode (there is no local co-op) with up to 3 other players. You can also set the Enemy Spawn Setting to "for One Player" which will make it even easier and will not compromise your progress towards any trophies. You will also focus on a few miscellaneous trophies during this step to somewhat reduce any post campaign grinding that is required. This includes changing your playable character after each mission for the Gratuitous violence from the lot of you trophy.

All progression towards kill related trophies transfers over to Chapter Select, so don't worry if you don't unlock all of these after completing all campaign missions as you can easily grind them post game or work towards their requirements whilst playing Horde Mode in Step 3.

Upon completion of Step 1 you will earn:

Don't mention the Z word!
Resurrection Day
Play it Thule
The pen is mightier than the sidearm
No more room in Hell
Hell on earth, that's it
Into the fire
Descent into Hell
This is going to be a bumpy ride
Code Red
I think we'll start with a reign of terror
You have got rid of those stiffs yet
There's something in the mist!
Broadsword calling Danny Boy
Taste some of Mama's home cookin', Adolf!
You want me to salute that pile of..?
Explosive personality!
I kick arse for the Lord!
Gratuitous violence from the lot of you
This calls for divine intervention!

Step 2: Play through the campaign again via Chapter Select on Cadet difficulty focusing on collectibles

In this step, you will want to go through the campaign again via Chapter Select to rack up your kills for zombies, Super Elites, Summoners, snipers, skeletons and rack up your combo and explosive kills. It's easier to do this on Cadet as you won't have to shoot the Super Elites as much.

You should also aim to collect all the collectibles in this playthrough. Every mission has 5 gold bars and 4 bottles of blood. Once you picked up one of the collectibles you can exit a chapter and you won't lose your progress towards the trophy.

You will also want to aim for the co-op trophies, and complete the survivor quests. The best way to farm kills is to go into co-op mode and rack up the zombies to 4-player and go into a level with a 'survive the siege' at the end (the Library of Evil for an example). This also works for explosive kills and 5-in-one sniper shot. However, don't spend too much time grinding kills just yet as you will likely obtain a lot of these trophies whilst playing Horde Mode in Step 3.

Upon completion of Step 2 you will earn:

Don't get all stingy with your bullets
The head bone's connected to the...oh, wait
Naughty little boys get what they deserve
We don't need a stretcher. We need a mop!
Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun
Snuff them out
Headache relief
Every bullet counts
We got this by the ass!
It's just a flesh wound!
Elite pickpocket
Burning a hole in your pocket
Give me something to shoot
We all go a little mad sometimes
Like a drunk who's lost a bet
Somebody's got to survive!
My family's always been in meat
Come and get it! It's a running buffet!
Your blood pressure is zero over zero
Headshots are the very best
And stay down!
Resurrect this!
I will not negotiate with the Undead!
Scourge of zombiekind
You've got red on you
Man, you sure know a lot about monsters
Just in case we make it
They must be destroyed on sight!
We have a Judas in our midst!
Leave the limbs you've lost
Got you, didn't I, you little sucker!

Co-op trophies:

Got your back
A friend in need
Got the killshot!
You're so dead, you don't even know it
Down but not out

Step 3: Complete up to Wave 10 on Horde Mode for each map

Horde mode is a wave based game, like the Call of Duty zombie modes or Exo Survival. Each wave gets progressively harder with more zombies and tougher enemies like the Super Elites. Getting to wave 10 on each map can take from half an hour up to an hour, depending if you are playing solo or with 2 or more players. You don't actually need to complete wave 10 for the trophy to unlock so once you get there, you can let yourself get killed to end the round. In total there are 5 maps in which you will need to play and make to Wave 10. During this step you will also aim to unlock other co-op specific trophies.

Upon completion of Step 3 you will earn:

Zombies, man, they creep me out!
You're going to meet Death now...
You're going to have to work for your meal
I'll teach ya how to shoot!
Guts and glory
You have...death around you
They're coming to get you, Barbra!
You have no reason to fear the dead

  • Successfully complete all Chapters on Sniper Elite difficulty

To earn this trophy you must complete all 15 missions on Sniper Elite difficulty. It is recommended to play with more than one player in co-op with Enemy Spawn set to ‘For One Player, as you will encounter many survival areas where there are waves of zombies, heavy gunners, fire demons, suicide bombers. You can play on Solo but it will take much longer and is more difficult.

General tips for playing on Sniper Elite difficulty:

    • Look for the Preacher shotgun in each level - The preacher is like a super-shotgun and is good for racking up your combo. Otherwise equip the Shotgun in your load out before starting each level.
    • Traps for Super Elites - Place loads of land mines, trip mines, dynamite when you see a Super Elite. Lure him into the trap and then chuck some hand grenades at him. Get in some headshots and he will be dead before you know it, just don't get caught in his blast.
    • Explosives that flash red - Save these for when there is a big group of zombies. These are also good to help get you the explosive kills trophy.
    • Always check for snipers - Snipers jump from roof to roof and a clean headshot will take them down easily.
    • Suicide bombers - These bombers run fast, to shoot them before they get to you. Make sure you don't get caught in the blast.
    • Ammo - Make sure you loot as many enemy bodies as you can to obtain explosives and ammunition.
  • Kill 5000 enemies of any kind

This will come naturally as you progress through the campaign and Horde mode. It doesn't matter what method you kill zombies with and all types of enemies count towards the trophy. You will receive periodic progress updates towards this trophy as you play the game. You can also track your progress by navigating to Extras => Campaign Stats from the main menu. If you are adamant on grinding this trophy, then you can play any Horde mode in solo mode and set the enemy spawn to 'For 4 players' and the difficulty to Cadet. This will drastically increase the number of enemies and as you are playing on your own you will obtain all the kills. All kills count towards the trophy regardless of game mode or if you die at any point.

  • Skeletons are a very easy type of enemy in which you will encounter very early in the campaign. The easiest way to kill them is to kick them by pressing near them. If you want to shoot them aim for their exposed heart in their chest. You will likely unlock this trophy through natural progression through the game. However, if by the end you still need more kills then replay some of the levels with Enemy Spawn set to 'For 4 Players'. This will drastically increase the number of enemies in the level.

  • Zombie Snipers are encountered early in the campaign as well as in later rounds of some Horde mode maps, they have a green aura around them and jump between roof tops of building in open areas. The best way to kill them is a clean headshot.

If by the end of the campaign you are yet to have killed 100 Zombie Snipers then replay the very first mission of the game, Episode 1: Village of the Dead, on Cadet difficulty. Play up until you encounter the first Zombie Sniper. Once you kill him reload the checkpoint and you will restart just before his location. Your progress will be saved after each kill and it shouldn’t take very long to mop up the remaining required kills.

  • Suicide Zombies are the ones that glow orange and run at you with their arm swinging holding a grenade. You will encounter Suicide Zombies a lot during the campaign missions as well as in the later rounds of Horde Mode. It is most likely that the trophy will come naturally but if not then just replay the campaign on Cadet difficulty and set the Enemy Spawn to 'For 4 players', which will drastically increase the number of enemies in the each level.

  • Super Elites are a type of mini boss zombie which you will first encounter early in the game, they are much larger than normal zombies and have a high powered Machine Gun. The easiest way to defeat them is with explosives or repeat headshots with your sniper rifle, just be careful as they can deal a lot of damage if you stand too close so try and kill them from a safe distance. You will most likely unlock this trophy naturally through progression of the campaign as well as playing Horde mode.

  • Kill 25 Fire Demons

Fire Demons spawn zombies that are on fire. They aren't too hard to kill and unlike the Super Elites, their whole body is vulnerable. A good place to farm this is Episode 2 Mission 4: Terminal. There is one at the beginning with a Summoner. Once you have killed him, restart the last checkpoint. Your progress will not be lost. Do this 25 times and the trophy is yours.

  • Kill 25 Summoners

Summoners float off the ground and summon zombies near you, they only take one headshot to kill. A good place to farm this is Episode 2 Mission 4: Terminal because there is one at the beginning. Once you have killed him, restart the last checkpoint. Your progress will not be lost. Do this 25 times and the trophy is yours.

  • Story related and cannot be missed. The Occult General has skulls round him and summons zombies. Shoot all the skulls that are floating around him and then shoot at him, repeat twice more. Don't worry much about the zombies that he spawns, because they will disappear when you kill the Occult General.

  • Pick up a Panzerfaust

On the first level of Episode 1, go to the top of the cathedral and in the front left corner is a Panzerfaust. Pick it up and the trophy is yours.

  • Pick up the Preacher

The Preacher is (supposedly) found in every level and is more powerful than the shotgun. In the first level, you have to defend a cathedral to get to a truck outside, in the alter inside at the back is the Preacher. See They're coming to get you, Barbra! for a video Guide to where the Preacher can be found in Horde Mode in the No Sanctuary map.

  • Get a 5-for-1 kill with any sniper rifle

A 5-for-1 kill is obtained when you kill 5 zombies with a single shot of your firearm. This is best done by using your sniper rifle and lining up 5 zombies in a row then going for a headshot. This trophy can be obtained at numerous locations in the game, but it may take a few attempts as a small element of luck is involved. We suggest playing on Cadet when trying this trophy and to set the Enemy Spawn to 'For 4 Players' as the more zombies you line up and shoot at, the greater chance you will have at killing 5 with a single bullet. A good location is during the beginning of the 'Labyrinth of Death' level from Episode 1. Refer to the following video by 360GameTV for a walkthrough:

Another way is to get your combo over 200 then a single headshot will net over 6,000 points, a good location for this is the Time Keep.

  • Reach a total shot distance of 50km

For this trophy you must amass a total shot distance of 50km (5,000 metres). This will come naturally as you play through the campaign as well as in horde mode so don’t worry too much about it. You will periodically get notifications on screen during the game on your progress. If you want to check your current progress you can, just navigate to Extras => Career Stats from the main menu. If you are worried about having to clean this trophy up post game, then just make sure you use your sniper rifle often during the game and try and maximise the distance from which you kill enemies.

  • Sever 1,000 limbs

See Leave the limbs you've lost

  • Sever 10,000 limbs

For this trophy you must sever 10,000 limbs i.e. arms and/or legs from enemy zombies. This trophy will take a while to do and will likely be one of the last in which you unlock. There isn't really a good way to speed this trophy up but there are a few things you can keep in mind whilst you play the game which may reduce the amount of grinding that might be required post game:

    • Frequently use the Shotgun (or find the stronger Preacher in each level) when fighting off large groups of zombies as the wide radius will help hit multiple enemies and potentially increase the amount of limbs severed.
    • Explosive kills, i.e. grenades, dynamite etc, are great for severing limbs, so given the opportunity throw explosives into large hordes of zombies, or make use of any explosive barrels, canisters etc in the environment.
    • Replay levels setting the Enemy Spawn to 'For 4 Players' as this will drastically increase the number of zombies in each level, and thus will increase the chance of severing more limbs when killing large groups of zombies with the above listed methods

If you want to grind this trophy, load up Episode 3 - The Keep (use a Shotgun as secondary) and in the Difficulty settings, choose '4 player zombies'. After the bit where the bridge blows up, there is a castle side with 3 summoners in the windows. Don't kill the Summoners as they will keep spawning wave after wave of zombies. If you run out of ammo, there is Sniper ammo at the end of the path.

  • Loot a Super Elite's corpse

Super Elites are a type of mini boss zombie which you will first encounter early in the game when defending the cathedral/church. The easiest way to defeat them is with explosives or repeat headshots. Just be careful as they are equipped with a powerful machine gun that deals a lot of damage. In order to loot a Super Elite's body you must be quite close when they die as their body only remains on the ground for a couple of seconds before it disappears. In order to loot the body, stand close by and hold when given the prompt.

  • Loot a Chainsaw Elite's corpse

The Chainsaw Elite is like the Super Elite in that they are bigger and take more shots to kill than regular zombie enemies. Unlike Super Elite's who have a machine gun, these enemies wield a Chainsaw. Again they are best taken down with headshots and explosives. Remember to stay close when you kill them as their body only remains on the ground for a couple of seconds before it disappears, press when the prompt appears to loot their body.

A good method for this trophy is in 'Forest of Corpses', where you are in a Lumber Yard. At the end of the path is a room with a Chainsaw Elite. Lead him out of the room and there is logs hanging in the air. Get him under them and shoot the metal winch holding them up to flatten him.

Credit to cenorexia for the video.

  • Kill a Zombie Sniper in mid-air

Zombie Snipers appear on rooftops in open areas of the game. They are identifiable by their green smokey appearance, as well as following the trace of their bullet when they shoot you. Once they shoot they will relocate to another rooftop area by performing a large jump. It is during their mid-air jump in which you need to kill them to unlock this trophy. This is best done by keeping your crosshair on the sniper and waiting for them to jump. Once they do, empty your lungs by pressing to increase your accuracy and then shoot them.

  • Get an unbroken 10-headshot streak

A headshot streak is obtained by killing multiple enemies in a row with a headshots, for this trophy you must kill 10 consecutive zombies with headshots. The headshot streak will be broken if you kill an enemy by a method other than a headshot e.g. explosive kill, If you break the streak then you will have to start over.

Although this trophy can virtually be obtained anywhere in the game, there are a few locations which make it slightly easier. In the second level of the game, you encounter a path with a gate on the left. Here there are zombies knocking at the gate, they are stationary and easy targets. Just zoom in with your Sniper Rifle and got for headshots. Once you obtain 10 in a row the trophy will unlock.

  • Kill 20 enemies as they revive

When you kill an enemy or kick them down the stairs, they sometimes revive. You can tell if they are reviving by an orange circle below them, and they will rise onto their feet. Kill them before they finish reviving. You will know if you have obtained a resurrection kill as a notification will appear at the bottom of the screen. Once you have obtained 20 resurrection kills, the trophy is yours.

  • Kill a Suicide Zombie by hitting his grenade

Suicide Zombies are fast zombies with an orange/red glow. They will run at you with a grenade held in the air and blow up in front of you dealing quite a lot of damage. This trophy is easiest obtained on Cadet difficulty because you don't need to take into account wind speed and bullet drop when shooting. Stand well back when they run in, empty your lungs and shoot the grenade. It might take you a few tries to get this trophy. We suggest using your Sniper Rifle as you have better aim, however, it can be obtained using any firearm.

  • Get at least 10 for 1 with an explosive kill

See Come and get it! It's a running buffet

  • Get at least 15 for 1 with an explosive kill

See Come and get it! It's a running buffet

  • Get at least 20 for 1 with an explosive kill

For this trophy you must kill a total of 20 zombies in a single explosive kill. The title is a bit deceiving as you can use more than one explosive device for the kills it just needs to be at the one time. This trophy stacks with Somebody's got to survive! and My family's always been in meat.

This trophy can technically be obtained anywhere in which you can gather 20 zombies in one location. A good place to attempt this is at the beginning of the 'Library of Death' level from Episode 1. You will firstly need to set Enemy Spawn to 'For 4 Players' as this will increase the number of zombies in the level. Also, make sure you equip 2 x Dynamite and 2 x Grenade as your loadout. The following video by 360GameTV shows the exact location and method for obtaining the trophy:

  • Headshot a Heavy Armour Zombie without removing his helmet

The Heavy Armor Zombies are the tall slow zombies wearing full body armour. For this trophy you must obtain a headshot without removing their helmet. Their helmets are removed by repeat shots to the head. In order to obtain a headshot without removing their helmet you must shoot through the gap where their eyes are located. The best way to do this is to play on Cadet difficulty and empty your lung when shooting them. You will come across these enemies both in the campaign as well as in Horde mode.

  • Defeat 500 enemies with headshots

This trophy is straightforward and won’t take you to long to obtain. A headshot is obtained by killing an enemy with a shot to the head. This can be obtained with any firearm, but is easiest with your sniper rifle. You will periodically get notifications during the game regarding your progress for this trophy. Alternatively you can navigate to the 'Extras' => 'Career Stats' menu from the main menu of the game to check your progress.

  • Kick 50 enemies down

When you are near a zombie, you can press to kick them down. A zombie may take 1-2 kicks before they die. There is an in-game counter whilst playing that will periodically display your progress. However, you cannot track your progress if you Career Stats menu. Once you kill 50 enemies by kicking them, the trophy will unlock.

  • Score 5,000 with a single sniper round

The easiest way to do this is to get a Shotgun and get your combo up to 30/50+.

A good location for this is Episode 3 - The Keep. At the beginning go straight ahead and there is a fork in the path; take the left path to get the Preacher and ammo. After the bridge blows up from the Suicide Bombers, use the Preacher when there is a large group of zombies to increase your combo. Once you have a combo over 150 (easily do able, use your grenades as these will also increase your combo), try and aim for a 2 (or more)-in-one headshot kill. Just remember, if you miss then your combo resets so just restart the checkpoint.

  • Reach a Chain Count of 10

See You've got red on you

  • Reach a Chain Count of 20

See You've got red on you

  • Reach a Chain Count of 30

A Chain Count occurs when you kill consecutive enemies without missing a shot. You do not have to kill each enemy with a single shot, you just can't miss any shots. Each kill increases the Chain Count by 1. Therefore you must kill 30 enemies in a row without missing a single shot. This is not as hard as it sounds. You will often be in areas with more than 30 enemies in front of you. Just take your time, don't panic and be sure of your shots before firing. Using the Shotgun is a good option as its wide range ensures you don't miss at close range. Your current chain count will appear at the bottom middle of the screen.

  • Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode - Waves of Despair

See They're coming to get you, Barbra!

  • Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode - No Sanctuary

See They're coming to get you, Barbra!

  • Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode - Flood of Tears

See They're coming to get you, Barbra!

  • Reach at least Wave 10 with the highest score in any Horde Mode map

This is easily done in a party. Someone creates a private match and invites someone else. Go into Horde Mode, and each player takes turns getting the highest score. It is also a good idea to do this on a map you have yet to reach wave 10 on, because then you will get two trophies instead of one. A good gun to use is the Shotgun as you can take down zombies en masse, increasing the chain count and scoring more points per kill.

  • Reach at least Wave 10 with more gold medals than your companions

Gold medals are obtained in Horde mode for achieving the highest amount/number of different statistics at the end of the game. There are a maximum of four Gold medals that can be earnt in a game of Horde Mode. These include:

    • Best shot (i.e. highest score from a single shot)
    • Highest number of kills
    • Highest number of co-op partner revives
    • Highest combo/ chain kill

In order to obtain a gold medal you must achieve the highest score out of all players in that game. The only medal progress you can track during the game is for total points which is displayed in the corner of the screen. It doesn't matter how many other co-op players are in the game and it doesn’t matter if players leave and new players join. As long as you make it to at least Wave 10 with the most number of Gold medals you will unlock the trophy. It's worth noting that the game has to actually end for the medals to be awarded i.e. everyone must die. If you leave the game before this point, they will not count and you will not unlock the trophy.

    Tips:

    • Use the Shotgun as it has a wide spread, thus allowing you to hit multiple enemies at once.
    • Chain as many kills together as you can as this will help your progress towards at least 3 out of 4 of the medals.
    • Play the map in which you are most comfortable with and learn the layout. This includes the location of ammo boxes and enemy spawn points. The first 5-6 Waves are dominated by standard zombies which can be killed with a single shotgun shot at close range.
  • Kill 50 enemies that are actively attacking other players

For this trophy you must kill 50 enemy zombies that are actively attacking your co-op partners. This will most definitely come naturally as you play Horde Mode and can be done with only 2 players, just make sure you stay in close proximity to your co-op partners so you can help them fend off any enemies close by. Zombies will also attack your downed co-op partners. This makes for an easy opportunity to gain progress for this trophy, just kill them before you go in and start reviving your partner. You will receive periodic progress updates on the number of revives you have performed, however, unfortunately you cannot track this in the Career Stats menu.

  • Revive other players 50 times

A co-op partner will go into a downed state when they have taken too much damage. At this point you have 60 seconds to revive them before they die, in which they return on the next wave n Horde mode or at the next checkpoint in co-op campaign. In order to revive a downed player, stand next to them and hold . It takes approximately 3-4 seconds for you to revive them. You will receive periodic progress updates on the number of revives you have performed, however, you cannot track how many you have performed in the Career Stats menu. This can be done with 2 players.

  • Kill 20 Elites in co-op

Elite Zombies are the large zombies with machine guns. For this trophy you must obtaining the killing shot when at least yourself and one other co-op partner are shooting at them. The best way to kill them is with repeated headshots with your Sniper Rifle. The trophy shouldn't pose too much of a problem as the higher rounds in Horde mode contain numerous Elite zombies. You will obtain periodic progress updates as you play but you cannot track your progress in the Career Stats menu.

  • Complete any Campaign chapter in 4-player co-op at any difficulty level

Play co-op with 4 players with 4-player zombies on cadet. Use the boosting thread to find partners. You're best off setting the zombie count to 1-player and Cadet difficulty to make it easier and quicker to do a level.

  • Kill a total of 20 enemies while incapacitated

In co-op mode you enter a downed state when you take too much damage, at this point you have 60 seconds to be revived by a teammate before you die completely. Whilst you are down you can yield a Handgun and shot enemies. Simply kill 20 enemies with your pistol when in this state to unlock the trophy.

  • When you first encounter the survivors, just shoot one and the trophy is yours.

  • Complete levels as every playable character

In total there are 8 playable characters. In order to unlock the trophy you must complete at least one level with each of the players. You can change which character you are at the Campaign screen by selecting 'Select Character', it's easier to just change your character after each level. Characters don't have any stats tied to them so it makes no difference who you play as. All 8 playable characters are available from the start of the game and these include:

    • Karl Fairburne
    • Dr Efram Schweiger
    • Boris Medvedev
    • Hermann Wolff
    • Beth Coleman
    • Marie Chevalier
    • Anya Bochkareva
    • Hanna Schulz

If you want to grind this trophy then the quickest mission to play on is Episode 1 Level 1, as it only takes about 30mins on Cadet with 1 player zombies.

  • Collect every Gold Bar

There are a total of 75 Gold bars in the game that need to be collected for this trophy, each of the 15 levels in the game contain 5 Gold Bars each. Progress towards the trophy is saved immediately after you collect each bar so you can easily clean these up via chapter select at any point during the campaign. In order to pick up a Gold Bar simply walk over it and a progress bar will confirm that you have obtained it. You can track the progress of the number of Gold Bars you have collected for each level at the level select screen.

For the locations of all the Gold Bars, please see They must be destroyed on sight!

  • Find and shoot every Bottle of Blood

There are a total of 60 Bottles of Blood of Blood that must be collected for this trophy. Unlike Gold Bars, Bottles of Blood need to be shot at for them to be collected. Each of the 15 levels in the game have 4 Bottles of Blood that need to be collected. Progress towards the trophy is saved immediately after you collect each bar so you can easily clean these up via chapter select at any point of your progression through the campaign. You can track the progress of the number of Bottles of Blood you have collected for each level at the level select screen.

    Notes:

    - The first in THE CITY OF ASHES (1/5) can be obtained ONLY in SOLO mode. To obtain it, you have to KILL 11 ZOMBIES while you are in DEAD DRUNK MODE.
    - The fourth in THE CITY OF ASHES (4/5) can be obtained ONLY if you save the MEDIC and you grab his DOCTOR BAG; this can also be done in CO-OP mode.
    - To take the last in THE KEEP, you have to take all 5 SATCHEL CHARGES. There are 4 required to blow the castle and 1 extra which is used to get the last gold bar.
    - For the last in ARMY OF DARKNESS you have to pick up the skeleton from the last safe house shown in video and throw it in that giant hole, otherwise the entry to last Gold Bar location won't open.

  • Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode - Dead End

See They're coming to get you, Barbra!

  • Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode - Dead Man's Bluff

Horde Mode in in Zombie Army Trilogy involves you fighting against waves of zombies either solo or with 3 other co-op partners. Each wave gets progressively longer with harder enemies. In total there are 5 maps and there is a trophy related to making it to Wave 10 for each one, you don't need to actually complete Wave 10, just start it. Note that if you join a game that is on a Wave beyond Wave 1 you will not unlock the trophy upon reaching Wave 10. You need to be in the game from the beginning.

Here are some tips that will help you reach Wave 10 in all 5 maps:

    • Firstly if you are the host set the enemy spawn to 'For 1 Players' as this will drastically reduce the number of enemies in the game. Furthermore, set the difficulty to Cadet as this will also make enemies weaker and not hit as hard.
    • There are ammo crates for each of your weapons where you can refill your ammo at any time. Learn their locations so you don’t get caught out with no ammo.
    • If playing with other players stay close together so if one of you gets downed you can revive the other one quickly.
    • Equip the shotgun in your load out as this gun is extremely useful for thinning out large groups of zombies.
    • Don't back yourself into a corner. Make sure you keep moving around the level. All zombies are slow so if you start taking damage move away from the zombies to recover your health.
