Have you ever wanted to be hunter and slowly walk through the desolate forest looking for virtual animals to randomly shoot at and hope you hit it? This is the game for you! There is little positive to say about this game. It attempts to be a hunting simulator, but lacks anything that would give it a simulation feel.

CAUTION! This game suffers from crashes. Coupled with the fact that there is no save feature (yes, you read that right) makes earning the trophies for getting to Level 3 nearly impossible to achieve. Ideally you only need to play through to the final rank on the final level for each map and complete a simulation run for each map, but given the crashes and the luck required to get the animals to spawn and not run off the map, it will take countless attempts. I’d recommend jumping into a competitive mode first to make sure you want to continue on. If you want to go after these trophies, follow the walkthrough below.

Step 1 - Score trophies

Go into Campaign mode and pick a simulated hunt type for either New Mexico or Canada. You will need to walk around to find a large “score game.” You will get a trophy for making your first kill and two trophies for getting the indicated score for each animal type.

During this step, you will earn:

145 score Bighorn Ram harvest
150 score Whitetail Buck harvest
First animal harvest

Step 2 – Argentina simulation

There are only two trophies for the Argentina simulation, so do those next. There is a helpful strategy listed to make getting these kills much easier. You will need to shoot a total of 100 doves in one attempt.

During this step, you will earn:

50 dove harvest
100 dove harvest

Step 3 – Argentina competitive

Now that you’ve mastered the dove strategy, you can complete the 2 Argentina level trophies.

During this step, you will earn:

Argentina competitive level 1
Argentina competitive level 2

Step 4 – New Mexico and Canada competitive

Now for the frustration. These two maps will require all your luck to complete. You need to reach the final rank of Level 3 for both of these maps. Remember: the game crashes and there is no save feature, so be prepared to attempt these trophies multiple times.

During this step, you will earn:

New Mexico competitive level 1
New Mexico competitive level 2
New Mexico competitive level 3
Canada competitive level 1
Canada competitive level 2
Canada competitive level 3

13 trophies ( 7  )

  • New Mexico, hunt simulation

From the main menu, select Campaign and then New Mexico and choose simulated. You are dropped into the map and will need to find a Bighorn ram with full grown horns. If you see a ram with smaller horns, ignore it as it will not get you a large score. Since this is a simulated mode, the animal will not disappear as it does in the competitive mode. It may take multiple shots to bring down.

There is no indicator that you have hit the animal, you will just need to keep shooting it and follow it. It will run away and, if you did hit it, it will fall down eventually. When it does, walk up to it and you will be see a harvest score. If it is not enough for the trophy, you can walk away quickly and look for another or just stand there to complete the harvest and try again.

You have to be aware of the map in this mode. If you find an animal close to the map boundaries, there is a chance that it could run off the map and not return. After shooting the animal, it is also possible that it will drop in a location that you cannot reach.

  • Canada, hunt simulation

From the main menu, select Campaign and then Canada and choose simulated. You are dropped into the map and will need to find a Whitetail buck with full grown rack. If you see an animal with a smaller rack, ignore it as it will not get you a large score. Since this is a simulated mode, the animal will not disappear as it does in the competitive mode. It may take multiple shots to bring down.

  • Argentina, hunt simulation

Before jumping in, go to the weapons cabinet and switch to Over/Under Shotgun. Then to the table at the right, select ammo. I do not believe it makes much of a difference as to which you select.

    Strategy
The trick for Argentina is to stand on one side of the map. Initially, doves will be flying everywhere. When you establish a spot on one side of the map, all the doves will soon fly from one side of the map directly over you. This allows you to spot the birds from a distance and track them as they get closer. Once they get nearly overhead, you should be able to shoot them down with relative ease.

Luck will play a large role in being able to kill 100. After you practice the strategy and figuring out where to aim, it will become easier.

  • achieve rank of general with pump shotgun

After earning the level 2 trophy, continue with the New Mexico competitive mode. You will need to complete the final rank of the previous level to begin Level 3. Once again, you will need to reach the indicated scores in order to progress to the next rank. Reach rank 5 to earn this trophy. You do not need to complete the final rank. Review New Mexico competitive level 1 for information on this mode.

  • achieve rank of general with pump shotgun

See New Mexico competitive level 3 . The only difference is that you must select Canada as the map.

  • achieve rank of general with AR-15

Even though you earned the trophy for Argentina competitive level 1 before completing rank 5 of the 1st level, you will need to complete rank 5 in order to make it to level 2.

Use the same strategy described in 100 dove harvest. This one is a little tougher as you are no longer using a shotgun. Instead of waiting for the birds to be directly overhead, start shooting when they are some ways out. You can see the path of the bullet as it is shot out of the gun. Use this to your advantage to line up your shot with the trajectory of the dove. As it gets closer, you can shoot as many times as you can and hope you make contact.

  • Argentina, hunt simulation

    See 100 dove harvest.

  • achieve rank of general with scoped rifle

After you earn the competitive level 1 trophy, you will need to continue through the competitive mode. You will need to complete the final rank of the first level to continue to level 2. Review New Mexico competitive level 1 for information on this mode.

  • achieve rank of general with scoped rifle

See New Mexico competitive level 2 . The only difference is that you must select Canada as the map.

  • achieve rank of general with AR-15

From the main menu, select “Campaign.” You will be placed into a cabin, ahead of you is a poster. Walk up to it and select New Mexico. You want to use the “competitive” hunt type for this mode. The season does not matter and definitely use the first “shooting person” and confirm to begin.

You will be placed into a forest. You need to kill the amount indicated in the bottom left. You have approximately 15 minutes to complete each rank, but after 8 minutes it will start getting dark which will make it much more difficult to see the animals. This mode is very luck based. If you are not immediately dropped near an animal, feel free to press to return to the lodge and start again.

You need to complete 4 ranks to reach the general (rank 5). You don’t have to kill the specific game for the area, you can also kill the coyotes and it will count as a kill. You will earn this trophy as you begin the final rank. You will need to complete the rank if you want to continue to competitive Level 2.

  • achieve rank of general with AR-15

See New Mexico competitive level 1 . The only difference is that you must select Canada as the map.

  • achieve rank of general with over/under shotgun

Use the strategy described in 100 dove harvest for Argentina competitive rounds. The best time to fire the shotgun is when the birds are directly overhead. The trophy will pop at the beginning of general (rank 5). You will need to complete this final rank to progress to level 2.

  • either deer, sheep, or coyote

You will earn this as you attempt the “harvest” trophies. If you play either of these modes in New Mexico or Canada, you will shoot an animal and walk up to it to “harvest” the carcass. When you do so for the first time, this trophy will unlock.
