Take a ride in FuturLab's latest installment of the Velocity series, and the sequel to the critically acclaimed Velocity Ultra. This sequel has over 50 levels, as well as a new platform mode that the previous titles did not have. The game stars Lt Kai Tana, who is fighting throughout the galaxy in her goal to wipe out every Vohk in existence and bring peace to mankind.

The platinum run is very straight forward. Your main goal is to perfect all 50 levels in the game, and collect every bonus crystal to unlock every bonus level. The game is very short and can be completed under 5 hours. Mastering the game, however, might take some time and determination depending on your skill with the game itself. Getting perfect on most of these levels does take some skill and patience, but is very doable if you put in effort. There are no glitched or missable trophies. Every level can be replayed from the level select screen.

There are 3 types of levels in the game. Each of them varies, and knowing how to complete each one will help you a lot on your road to the platinum. The types of levels include:

Critical Urgency - These may be considered the hardest by some, because you have to boost the whole way through or you won't beat the time target. These levels are very fast paced and there is no room for error. I found most of them fairly easy to complete, because you just need to know what is coming up through the level, which you should learn from practicing. These levels are usually only around a minute long. The best advice we can give you, is to just learn the entire level beforehand then go for perfect. Also, don't forget to hold boost down the whole time!
Search and Rescue - These levels are very generous on time, but they can get confusing. The levels themselves are short but you will need to backtrack most the time with the long form teleport. The main thing about these levels is the survivors, there are a lot of them. You do get a lot of time to complete the objective, so you don't need to rush but you can't be slow either. We personally found these levels the worst of them all, because it takes a while to work them out, and they can take a while. Main advice we can give you is to take things slow so you make sure not to miss anything. Also, listen carefully for the noise that sounds when you need to drop a telepod.
Hostile Forces - These levels involve lots of enemies. They aren't too bad because you can spam bombs which kills enemies really quickly. They have a moderate amount of crystals, survivors and the time you need to complete it in so you shouldn't have any trouble with these. The hardest hostile force levels are the boss fights, but with practice you should be able to complete them easy enough. Best advice we can give, is to just play the game as you usually play it. Don't go too fast, and make sure you kill every enemy for the score requirement!

The platinum is highly skill dependent, and you will need to practice a lot in order to master the levels. Some levels took me a couple of hours to perfect, namely level 47. The best advice we can give you is to keep practicing and learn the entire level. It is recommended that you perfect a level before moving on to the next one. The game gradually gets harder, but it doesn't suddenly have a huge difficulty spike, so if you perfect as you go along you will get better and better at the game. There are several levels that give plenty of time for you to be sure that you're getting all the survivors and crystals.

Step 1: Complete the Campaign

In this step, you will just simply enjoy the game and complete every level at least once. You should take this opportunity to get used to the gameplay, controls, and speed of the game. The game is very fast paced and speed will be a big asset to be successful in many "Perfect" runs. Learn every level to a certain extent, and get comfortable with using telepods, using warp, dodging enemy fire and boosting efficiently. All of these abilities are what will make you master the game. The game doesn't take very long to complete, about 3hrs or less if you just complete the levels. Make sure you do get a somewhat decent score though as you need to get XP in order to unlock the later levels in the game. If you don't have enough XP, the level will remain locked until you go back and get a better score on previous levels. You should also get pretty much every miscellaneous trophy on this step, without even trying. Don't worry if you do miss any as you will be going for the ones you missed in step 2 of the roadmap.

Step 2: Bonus Levels, and Miscellaneous Trophies

In this step, you will replay every level that has a bonus crystal and a specific miscellaneous trophy. Most miscellaneous trophies require you to get a certain amount of kills, destroy a certain amount of objects, and will most likely be earned naturally. If you don't meet the requirements for a specific trophy, you can replay any level and farm the required goal as every requirement trophy is cumulative. You will most likely have obtained every miscellaneous trophy during step 1, so this step is mainly to focus on the bonus levels. The trophy guide includes the locations of them all, and solutions to the bonus levels. Be sure to collect any crystals you might be missing so that you will have access to every bonus level. There are a total of 25 levels to be played.

Step 3: Futurlab Certified (Perfecting all 50 Levels)

This will be your final and most challenging step. In this step, you will "perfect" every level. Getting a perfect means that you must complete each "goal" that the level offers:

Time
Rescues
Crystals
Points

You must beat each of these four categories in a single run without dying to earn a perfect on every level. Some levels are a lot harder than others, but trial and error is the biggest key for success. Most of these goals are also somewhat forgiving so it's not impossible to earn these perfects. Critical Urgency levels are the exception because they aren't very forgiving, especially the later levels because every second counts. The last level may present some players with trouble, in which case we have included a video of a perfect run in the guide if you do get stuck there.

Introduction

Welcome to Velocity 2x - Dual Core Pack, as you gain control of a second ship, and start to get more and more connected to its AI, during the events of your escape from Paroika Prime (between stages 48-50). You are given 10 stages to test your skills and coordination as a pilot, using two ships at once, as the AI from the second ship gains conscience and wants to test its skills to the limit, in stages that (in my humble opinion) are way more challenging than those 48 - 50 from the main game.

Please keep in mind that this guide was developed using as a base the PS Vita version, and I can't suggest strongly enough for you to get theses trophies using this system, as the touch teleport make things way easier. If you only have a PS4, then raise the difficulty level, and be prepared to test your patience and sanity to the limits.

ROAD MAP

Step One - Beat and get perfect on all levels
All stages are accessible from the very beginning. But I would recommend to not try later stages first, as you will notice they are way harder than the first ones. Take your time and try completing one stage after another, always aiming for perfect scores, to minimize the need of replaying them later.

Also, if you are struggling with a certain stage, do not give up until you get it perfected. That's because every time that you try, you will get better and better at a certain point, and then, in no time, you will see that you have mastered that certain stage and that it's just a matter of time until you get all perfect medals.

At the end of this step you should have:

Step Two - Get all remaining trophies
Now that you have mastered all stages, it's time to get all the remaining trophies.

Head to DC 02 and cross it without letting go of boost, being careful enough not to die. Then, on DC 07, on the zig-zag tunnel, die by having only the second ship explode. If you don't get it, just restart and try again at the same spot. Finally, at DC 08, at the very beginning, destroy all 16 turrets in 2 seconds or less. At the end of this step you should have:

Introduction

Critical Urgency pack, in the words of developers, "features six obsessively fine-tuned speed-run levels that teach you new tricks and push your teleporting skills beyond the limits of your imagination", and will also test your patience and determination to its limits. You have 6 levels to test your skills, memorization and quick thinking in solving all puzzles and finishing every stage like a boss.

Even though the levels are relatively short, they prove quite a challenge with well positioned force walls, magma pools and difficult sessions. It's not just a test of skill, it's also a test to see whether or not you can keep your sanity.

Please keep in mind that this guide was developed using as a base the PS Vita version, and I can't suggest strongly enough for you to get theses trophies using this system, as the touch teleport make things way easier. If you only have a PS4, then raise the difficulty level, and be prepared to test your patience and sanity to way beyond their limits.

ROAD MAP

Step One - Clear all stages and get every Perfect Medal.

All levels are already accessible from the very beginning. But you will want to start from CU 1, and make your way to CU6, since there's a learning curve and it's quite probably the later stages will prove to be a hassle if you start there. Also, aim to get Perfect on every stage, since every time you fail, you will restart and get better and better. Don't go to the next one until you have perfected the previous.

Step Two - Replay CU 2 and avoid all speed pads

Now you will want to replay CU 2 and aim to avoid all speed pads. Since you are not going for a perfect run, take your time, study your route and this should not pose a problem.

Easy Tiger

Fly over your first speed pad
You will first encounter a speed pad in level 25. The speed pads are similar to those in WipEout, when you go over one you get a small speed boost. At the very end of the level, you have to go over some in order to complete the level so this trophy cannot be missed.

Look in every folder in Flight Computer
There are 14 folders in the flight computer, they consist of:
- Prologue
- Scenes
- Journal
- Enemies
- Equipment
- Races
- Allies
- Location
- Concept
- Stats
- Bonus
- Credits
- Calculator
- Progress
All of them can be viewed from the start of the game, except for "Concept" and "Bonus". To get access to the concept folder, you need to complete every bonus mission. To view the bonus folder, you need to find at least one bonus crystal. The trophy will unlock when you view all folders.
Double Whammy 2X

Disable two switches within 0.5 seconds of each other
See Triple Whammy 2x for more details.
Triple Whammy 2X

Disable three switches within 1 second

Throughout the game you will have to "disable" switches to unlock certain doors. You have to disable them in the right order as well. These switches will have numbers on them.

To unlock this trophy, you must disable three switches within 1 second of each other. To disable a switch, simply shoot at it in the direction that the arrow is facing. This is not as hard as it sounds. You just need the perfect opportunity as disabling switches have to be disabled from the right angles.

A perfect opportunity is in level 21, "Higher Ground". Right after the first platforming sequence, you will have to disable three switches. Switches 4 and 5 will have glass that you have to break just before you can disable these switches, so break the glass before you start disabling any of the switches. This will set up the opportunity to disable these three switches within a second.

(This is the area that you're looking for to disable all three switches within a second.)

When you go for the opportunity, have your ship in the center of the switches and quickly press , , rsdown: to hit the three switches in that order. If you've disabled them correctly the trophy should unlock.

If you mess up this opportunity then you will have to restart the level from the pause menu.

Collect 5,000 crystals

Mind The Gap

Dock your ship for the first time
Your first encounter with a dock is in level 4.

Docking your ship is when you land your ship in a dock. All you have to do is fly into it to proceed into a platforming sequence. The trophy will unlock shortly afterwards.

You will have to complete a ton of these platforming sequences through out the game, so it's impossible to miss this trophy.
Ketchup!

Get squished at the bottom of the screen
Chances are that this will be your every first trophy that you earn. All that you have to do to meet the requirements is to get "squished", die basically. To get squished at the bottom of the screen, move the acceleration button (, ), and position your ship at the bottom of the screen; then hold down the boost button () and crash into a narrow corner. You will blow up and the trophy will unlock. You can also do this in areas where you need to teleport through an object.
Double Dash

Teledash through two Vokh at the same time
There are several opportunities to earn this trophy in the later levels of the game. Sometimes you will see two Vokh in one area, and in order to kill them both without getting killed yourself, you need to get them both in sync by teledashing through them. This trophy is very difficult to miss, but if you do miss it then you can find two Vokh guards in one area on level 47.
Gotta Kill 'Em All!

Kill every type of enemy (doesn't incude boss battles)
This trophy will come naturally and cannot be missed if you complete every level of the game.

You must kill every type of enemy at least once. Most of these enemies can be found during the space portion of the game. There are a few enemies however, that can only be found during the platform portion of the game.

Enemy types include:
- Vokh Despoiler (Space portion)
- Vokh Negotiator (Space portion)
- Vokh Firebolt (Space portion)
- Turrets (Space/Platforming portion)
- Mines (Platforming portion)
- Shrike (Platforming portion)

You can check your enemies killed progress by accessing the "Flight Computer" from the main menu, followed by the "Enemies" folder.

Snooze You Lose

Get stuck in a door
This trophy can be earned as early as level 29, "Cold Calculation".

This trophy is quite simple. You must die by getting squished by a switch door. Switch doors look like walls and have the color of whichever switch you're triggering. It's also worth noting that these special switches have a certain time limit before they close. Some timed switches have to be activated by multiple switches within a time limit to disable a single door, so be quick about triggering these switches in the correct order.

To unlock this trophy, simply disable one of these timed triggers and stand above/below the door until the timer runs out. When the timer runs out the door will close and you will unlock this trophy.

Power Extreme

Unlock all abilities

To meet the requirements for this trophy, you must unlock each ability that the game has to offer. This trophy cannot be missed if you play through every level and complete the game.

Unlockable abilities include:

Tough Stuff

Survive the first encounter with General Glaive
You first encounter Glaive in level 12, "Glaive: 1st Encounter". Glaive is an actual boss battle, and has a white health bar above it's ship. Defeat Glaive to complete the level and unlock the trophy. You can die and still unlock the trophy, but it will ruin your "Perfect" medal run for the level.
Data Miner

Collect all data packs
There are 43 data packs in the game. They are all very easy to find, and you'll see them all as you go through the levels. The trophy unlocked for me when I collected 41 of them, so it may be glitched in a good way. Here is what they look like:

Credit Crunch

Get 100,000 points in the credits minigame
The credits can be accessed by completing level 50, or selecting "Credits" on the main menu. All you have to do is shoot the credits as they roll to get points. All we did was stand to the left of them, and spam the rifle and scored well over 100,000 points. There are also weapon pick ups on the both the right and left hand sides for the pal cannon to increase your firepower, but the rifle works well. Only grab a weapon pick up one at a time as grabbing multiple pick ups while you have a weapon boost active is a total waste. The trophy will unlock once you reach 100,000 points.
High Flier

Gain your first PERFECT medal

Tele-Damage

Defeat a Vokh

Saviour

Rescue 6,000 Jintinda
"Jintinda" are the blue ships that you collect throughout the space portion of the game. Every level has about 200 or more Jintinda that can be rescued, so you should meet the requirement for this trophy before you complete the game. Rescuing Jintinda is also cumulative, meaning that you can rescue the same Jintinda over and over again until the trophy unlocks.

A perfect level to farm rescues is in the 50th level, Terminal Velocity. There are 400 Jintinda and you can complete the level in under a minute on a perfect run.

Miss Average

Gain above average XP in half the levels
This trophy is quite easy, you must score above average XP in at least 25 of the levels.

Above average means that you must earn over half of the score in 25 levels. Your total score includes rescuing Jintinda, earning crystals, completing the level as fast as you can, and destroying enemies/glass etc. Chances are that you'll score more than above average in most of the levels without much effort, so this trophy will come naturally throughout general play.
Qirex R.I.P.

Hit every speed pad in Level 25
There are speed pads at the start and end of this level. The speed pads at the start are easier to miss, but all the speed pads are in your way. You can take the level as slow, or as fast as you like. There is no time limit to the trophy. The trophy will unlock when you hit the final speed pad near the end. If it doesn't unlock then just teleport back to the start and go over them again. Here is a visual walkthrough of the level:
Intermediate

Earn Gold medals on all Critical Urgency levels

Basic Training

Boost all the way through level 3
To unlock this trophy, you must hold down the boost button ( for Vita), ( for PS4), throughout the whole 3rd level, "Second Nature", without letting go. You cannot die and must complete the level in one go. It is a very short and easy level. You can dash while boosting as well, but you cannot stop. It's also very important to keep holding the boost button until the trophy unlocks, even after you complete the level that takes you to the loading screen.

If this is the first level that you complete without letting go of the boost button, you will also unlock Heavy Boots as well.
Killa Thrilla

Destroy 2500 airborne enemies
"Airborne" enemies are pretty much every enemy that you encounter in space. The only enemies that do not count towards this requirement are turrets, mines, and the enemies in platform portions of the game.

To earn this trophy, kill 2500 enemies throughout the game. Total kills are cumulative, meaning that your total kill count carries over every level and can be farmed in the same levels repeatedly if desired.

Exterminator

Destroy 50 Vokh Guards

Vokh guards are first introduced in level 22; "Vokh Patrol". To kill a Vokh, you must shoot them from behind. They will charge at you the second that they see you, so you must teledash through them () to avoid their charge attack. Once you successfully dash through them, quickly shoot at them from behind to successfully kill them.

The best level to farm Vokh kills is in the 22nd level, "Vokh Patrol". This level has 7 Vokhs. You can choose to replay the level until the trophy unlocks. This is also a perfect opportunity to master the level for the "Perfect" medal. This trophy is cumulative. If you choose not to farm kills, then killing Vokh across all levels will count towards the trophy. The trophy will unlock when you kill the 50th Vokh.

Romancing The Throne

Collect 10,000 crystals
Crystals are the purple objects that you collect throughout the platform portion of the game. Crystals are collected by passing over them, or by shooting purple walls that drop crystals. Vokh Guards also drop crystals, so be sure to kill every Vokh Guard that you come across. Some areas containing crystals can be tricky to reach.

Every level has about 100 or more Crystals that can be obtained, so you should meet the requirement for this trophy before you complete the game. Collecting crystals is cumulative, meaning that you can collect the same Crystals over and over until the trophy unlocks.
Bonus Onus

Unlock all bonus levels (25)
There are 25 bonus levels in the game. You need to find the bonus crystals in 25 of the levels in order to unlock the bonus levels. As soon as you pick one up, it saves forever. You can quit out and still keep it. To play bonus levels, or see which ones you are missing, go to the "Flight Computer" from the main menu. This is what bonus crystals look like in the game:

Rampager

Shoot 10,000 pieces of glass
Pieces of glass are usually clear blue objects that you can shatter throughout the space and platform portions of the game. Glass can be shattered by shooting at it and they usually carry a Jintinda, a health pack, or a weapon upgrade inside. Shattering glass also counts towards your total score so it's very important to shoot and completely shatter every piece of glass that you come across.

This trophy should unlock through natural play before you complete the game.
FuturLab Certified

Gain 50 PERFECT medals
This is the hardest trophy in the game. There are certain requirements needed to perfect a level, these are:
- Beating the level under the gold time
- Rescuing all Survivors
- Collecting all Crystals
- Beating the high score
- Not dying
You cannot collect them over separate runs, you need to do it all in one go for the perfect.

Here's some general tips on how to achieve the perfect medals:

Beating the gold time

This target is only hard to beat on critical urgency zones, and a few of the later levels. Most of the levels you are given plenty of time if you don't mess around, or backtrack if you miss survivors. You can see your time in the bottom left of the screen, it counts down from a certain number. The best tips we can give you is to teledash a lot of the time while platforming (this is faster than running if you spam it, careful though as you might miss crystals), and hold down :r:/ while in the ship as much as you can. You need to get used to playing the game at a fast pace.

Rescuing all Survivors

Survivors are the oval shaped objects you will see throughout all the levels. There are usually a few hundred of them in each of the levels, and you need to collect all of them for the perfect rating. You can see how many you have by looking at the bottom right of the screen. You collect survivors by flying over them. Note; survivors cannot be found on foot, they are only while you are in the ship.

Collecting all Crystals

Crystals are found while you are platforming, and a lot of the time you have to "mine" them by shooting walls that have them in. Shoot by moving the about, or when you have a rifle. These are very easy to miss, and it can be a pain completing a level quickly and getting all the crystals as well. Just make sure you are careful, and try to remember where the crystals can be found throughout the level.

Beating the High Score

Glass pads are purple or blue pieces of glass that contain Survivors or Health kits. Be sure to completely shatter the glass pads, as shattering it completely will give you the maximum points. Shattering only half of it will result in only earning half of the points, so it's very important to note that you must shatter both sides to reach the highest possible points on each specific level.

Some glass has more than two sides so it's important to completely shatter every piece of glass that you come across.

You also want to kill every enemy in the level and pick up the weapon upgrades that they drop. These provide you with points as well and you need close to the maximum possible score in a level to beat the high score. Just make sure to break all the glass, kill all the enemies, pick all the crystals up, save all survivors, and pick up any of the weapon drops.

Not Dying

This is pretty self explanatory, you cannot die at all. If you do you will not get a perfect rating. A lot of things will one hit kill you in the game, such as anything that is glowing red in the platform sections of the game. You can take bullet damage though from enemies, but bullets will eventually kill you. Your health bar is displayed at the top left of the screen. If you touch enemies, this is also an instant death. For some of the levels, you need to know them perfectly in order to complete them without dying (Namely level 47, as this is platforming hell).

Get a PERFECT medal on all Critical Urgency levels

There are a total of twelve Critical Urgency levels in the game. They are marked with a on the level select screen. Critical Urgencies are very fast paced, and you need to hold down boost throughout most of the level in order to beat the time without making any mistakes. Perfecting all of these will be no easy task. The ones you need to perfect as as follows:
- Level 1 - Unconscious - Complete under 0:45
- Level 3 - Second Nature - Complete under 0:30
- Level 4 - Contract - Complete under 0:45
- Level 5 - Teledash... - Complete under 0:35
- Level 16 - Rekenium Rush - Complete under 1:45
- Level 25 - Critical Urgency - Complete under 1:46
- Level 30 - Fearless - Complete under 1:45
- Level 37 - Building Momentum - Complete under 1:45
- Level 40 - Fast & Furious - Complete under 1:20
- Level 43 - Flight - Complete under 1:50
- Level 46 - The Gauntlet - Complete under 1:15
- Level 50 - Terminal Velocity - Complete under 1:00
As soon as you get a perfect medal in your last critical urgency level, the trophy will unlock. See the "tips and tricks" section of the roadmap for assistance in aiming for these perfects. If you are having trouble on level 50, please refer to the video listed under the Mind Over Matter trophy.

Complete all bonus levels
There are a total of 25 bonus missions you need to complete. The bonus levels are little puzzles where you need to collect all the survivors without flying off into space. You don't need to beat them in a certain time, you just need to complete all 25 of them. This could possibly be the hardest level to earn a perfect on. All you need to do for this trophy though, is complete the level with any score or ranking. There is a video below to serve as a visual aid on your perfect run. The trophy will unlock on the results screen.

This trophy unlocks as soon as you start the 48th mission. You control two ships through levels 48, 49 and 50.

Thumb Kinda Hero

Perfect all speed levels
This is, by far, the most difficult trophy of this DLC (personal opinion: the most of the two DLCs). You will earn this one after getting a Perfect medal on all six Critical Urgency stages. To do it, you must, in a single run:
-Collect all survivors;
-Collect all Rekenium shards;
-Destroy all glass panels and turret enemies;
-Do not die.

While it seems not that complicated, keep in mind that we are talking about Critical Urgency stages. Which means you have little to no room for error, and you must keep running, jumping and teleporting all the times. From personal experience, I can tell that even a pause as little as half a second can ruin your entire run by 2, even 3 seconds above the the target time.

There are, however, a few tips for easing the pain:

-Know the stage layout - you are teledashing through a long corridor, just to die on that force wall you didn't expect to be there. Or you do that perfect run, thinking you've met all requirements for a Perfect medal, just to find out, on the results screen, you've forgotten something AND your time is way off the edge. So memorizing the stages layout, and knowing where are you going are key factors;

-Speed pad trick - Whenever you see a speedpad, deploy a teleporter right upon it. This way, you can press four times in quick succession, and gain an extra boost. Just remember that there is a delay while deploying one, and since you will be dashing, you must calculate the optimal position to do so;

-Teledash and teleport doors - Always teledash while you can. You will get rekenium shards even while teledashing (this doesn't work while you're aboard your ship, so don't try it), and can even teledash away from a slope-slide without miss any crystals. If you are running up, keep jumping+teledashing while pressing forward, and you will also get the benefits of it without losing shards. For the doors, once you will know you have collected all rekenium shards and activated all switches, hit L (L1 for PS4 players) and select the dock to exit the room without having to walk all the way to the exit. It's a life saver, and if you're not using any speed pad tricks, you can't get Perfect on Stage 5 without doing it. Also, take a look at this article, as it contains valuable tips and tricks on how to use these abilities effectively.

Just clear all levels to get this trophy. You don't need to perfect them. However, you will need a Perfect medal in each one of them for Thumb Kinda Hero. Please refer this trophy for further information.
Sonic Spin

Trigger a speed pad 4 times in under a second in level CU05
Right at the beginning of the level you will see a speed pad. After the game clues you to deploy a telepad, wait half a second, then deploy it. If done right, it will be right above the speedpad. Now, keep hitting until you get the trophy. It should not take long.
Cautious Kai

Avoid every speed pad in level CU02
For this one, you will need to complete this level slowly. Take your time and, when near a speed pad, keep pressing the wall on your right/left so you can avoid it. Bear in mind if you hit just one, you will need to restart the level from the beginning.
Hot Heels

Boost and sprint all the way through level CU02

As its Dual Core pack counterpart, this trophy can be quite frustrating to get.

You need to complete Level CU 02 [Lock Breaker] without letting go off the boost. This means that, if you, for any reason, and in any time, release R (R1 for PS4 players) even for a split second, you will not get this trophy. Also, you cannot die, as if you die, you will void the trophy (even if you complete the stage without releasing R, you won't get it).

SugarIsTheDevil has, also, noted something very important:

"I figured out a way to get it. I couldn't get the trophy when I hit restart after a failed attempt, but when I quit out of the stage and tried again it unlocked. So if you're going for the trophy and didn't get the trophy requirements (because you died, or because you released the R button for example) quit the stage, return to the menu screen and start again. Let me know if it works. It did for me."

So, if you die, you will have to start the whole level by pressing , then selecting Quit and restarting the stage from Stage Select screen.
Turret Takedown

Destroy 6 turrets in level CU04 in under one second
You will see six turrets (three below and three above you) as you enter the first "room" right after the beginning of the stage, during the ship section. As you teleport inside, just shoot a bomb up and down (first up, because as you are likely dashing, you don't want to risk crashing into them), and the trophy should unlock afterwards.

Thumb Together

Perfect all Dual Core Levels
To get this trophy, you will need to perfect all 10 Dual Core stages. It will test your skill and coordination to the maximum, since there will be multiple sessions where you will need to maneuver from one side of the screen to the other in a split second. People have reported that stages 06 and 08 are the hardest, as you have literally no time to spare, and even if you manage to complete all objectives and do not have anything halt you, there's a chance you don't beat the stage time.

There are a few tips that might work in order to complete this task:

- Always (and I mean ALWAYS) focus on the main ship (except only when you have to bomb some switches/glass boxes/enemies with the secondary ship and are going through narrow passages where you control the ships one by one) to perform the tasks required to perfect stages. The stage layouts are made so while you collect survivors/destroy enemies/break glasses with one, you will do it with the other. And especially on Critical Urgency stages, pay very close attention to survivors of different colors on the same column. You have less than a second to collect both;

-Take your time on non-critical urgency stages to figure out what you have to do. This is specially important on later stages, when you need to maneuver both ships at different time frames, and risk losing a life doing so;

-On critical urgency stages, when you see the stage is almost over (when the walls are far apart each other), press so the ships will move upwards faster, and you finish the stage a second (or seconds) faster. This can be the difference between perfecting a stage and having to redo it all over again.

Pretty self-explanatory. You will earn this trophy by completing all 10 Dual Core stages. You don't need to perfect them to earn it (although you will need to do it in order to get Thumb Together. Please refer to this trophy for more information).
The Immaculate Perfection

Perfect all Speed Runs
For this trophy you will have to perfect all Critical Urgency stages (they are identified with a thunder symbol right below the name).

Below are the stages you need to perfect in order to get this trophy:

Cruise Controlled

Left Behind

Die by leaving one ship behind
You can't get this trophy by exploding both ships. This must be done so one ship will be destroyed, while the second one remain unharmed.

I've found DC 07 the best place for it. At the beginning of the tunnel section, when Kay asks in surprise (something like "Eh?"), you will notice that you will control both ships, but they will move one in front of the other. Just let the screen smashes the second one, and the trophy is yours.
Quadruple Whammy 2X

Destroy 16 turrets in 2 seconds in Level DC08
Keep in mind that the counter just starts when you have destroyed your first turret (so, in fact, you have 2 seconds to destroy 15 turrets, after the first one is destroyed). The good thing about this trophy is that you have, in fact, a bit more time than 2 seconds, as the game counts time by the stage timer. So, if you have destroyed the first four right after the counter changed to, let's say, 0:20, you can destroy the last four right before it changes to 0:23 and still get the trophy (I tested it under this condition and it worked)
You have two spots where you can try this trophy: one at the beginning of the stage (after a series of survivors you have to get by teleporting left/right constantly) and other at the end (on the same conditions). There will be four turret rows, protected by walls, each row with four turrets.

What you have to do is, when you see a row of 4 turrets (2 on each side), slow down (release R), position your ship directly under the two on the center, wait for your ship to get almost squashed, and proceed to teleport/bomb all the turrets. This way, you will destroy a row with a single bomb, and can get to the others way quicker. Do this on the next 3 rows of turrets and you get the trophy.

Restart the stage if you didn't get it after the first attempt, as you will spend too much time trying to get it on the last rows.
