Umbrella Corps is a multiplayer-based tactical shooter developed and published by Capcom for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. It is a spin-off from the Resident Evil series and was released worldwide in June 2016. The game consists of an offline mode called "The Experiment" that consists of 24 trials and an online matchmaking mode that allows 3-vs-3 player teams to combat against one another. The Platinum is time consuming and annoying, due to the player population being near non-existent since launch and the few active players being either boosters or hardcore pros.

Tips: Find a boosting group here: LINK and attempt to boost the trophies (join a party chat so you can communicate with one another on both teams). This will make earning the trophies and finishing the tasks required for U-Trial Challenges.

Step 1: Complete the Tutorial

The tutorial is extremely simple and will help with most, if not all, of the techniques within Umbrella Corps.

Upon completing Step 1, you will earn:

The Graduate

Step 2: Complete The Experiment

The experiment is "canon" in the Resident Evil universe and, although this is pretty dull, will get you ready to play online. The biggest tip I can offer is that whenever you need to find some place safe, either stand on high ground (car/counter) or for later SP BOW Encounters, lock them in room. All zombies (regular and BOWs) cannot open doors, and cannot jump off anything. This makes picking off zombies that much easier to complete the 24 trials. There are 24 total Trials in The Experiment

Upon completing Step 2, you will earn:

Return of the Grim Reaper

Step 3: Play Online Ranked Matches

To obtain any progress in Umbrella Corps, you have to play ranked matches (meaning no public/friends matches allowed). This is not that big of a problem because if you are boosting with 5 other people, all you need to do is Join their Session. The servers are practically dead with hardly anyone still playing so you will have to boost everything anyway.

Upon completing Step 3, you will earn:

One Life Trophies:

Turnabout Justice
Finishing Them Off
Special Agent
Specialist

Multi-Mission Trophies:

Getting My Feet Wet
No More Training Wheels
Can't Catch Me
The Conqueror
The Scientist
The Mad Scientist
Ultimate Protector
All For Me
Collared
Killing Spree
New Recruit
Squad Master

Trophies that can be achieved in any mode:

Well Traveled
Playing The Field
Swinging Sixty
Hall of Famer
Overwhelming Force
Bow Before Me
Hot Feet
Mad Skills
Carrying Dead Weight

U-Trial Trophies (Other than Squad and One Life):

Rookie Fighter
Combat King
Weapon Novice
Weapon Maestro
Baby Boom
Grenade God
Think First, Shoot Later
The Technician
Path to Greatness
Prestigious
Firstly Decorated
Highly Decorated

Step 4: Grind 500 Online Ranked Matches

By now, you should have earned all the trophies except for U Can't Touch This and Umbrella Corps. This step is where the real grinding happens, because it will take hours to complete all the U-Trials so get a Boosting group together and start working on the.

Upon completing Step 4, you will earn:

U Can't Touch This
Umbrella Corps

    One Life:

Sudden Death - When 1 minute is left in the round, you will be able to see enemy player outlines through the walls.

    Multi-Mission:

Protector - Find and obtain the briefcase. The team that is able to hold on to it for 60 seconds wins.

Collector - There are 5 briefcases (?) in the stage. The team that collects all the briefcases wins.

DNA Hunter - Kill the creatures (?) and collect their DNA samples. The first team to collect 60 samples wins.

SP DNA Hunter - Kill the special mutated creatures (?) and collect their DNA samples. The first team to collect 3 samples wins.

Collar War - Collect the collars (?) from enemy players who have been killed. The first team to collect 15 collars wins. You can pick up the collars of fallen allies to prevent the enemy team from getting points.

Domination - Secure the specified location (?). The first team to secure the location for 50 seconds wins. You must stay within the specified area (?) to secure it.

Respawn Match - Kill the enemy players (?). The first team to 15 kills wins.

Target Hunter - One target (?) is chosen per team. The first team to kill the enemy target 5 times wins. A new target is selected after the current one has been killed.

  • Get 50 total wins.

    Win 50 total games.

  • Win a game set without losing a round in any game mode.

This is part of the One Life U-Trial and will be obtained over time. Win with a score of 3.0 to 0.0.

  • Be chosen as the MVP in any game mode.

This is part of the One Life U-Trial and will be obtained over time. Win with either having the most Points, Kills or Assists.

  • Run 100 m while holding the heated brainer.

This is easily obtained when you unlock the Talonhawk brainer. With the brainer out, hold to charge and run with . After a few charges this trophy will easily pop.

  • Achieve a counter.

When an enemy player attacks with , have your brainer out and press before they kill you.

  • Kill an enemy player while using the zombie shield.

This is the same as U Can't Touch This but when you grab a zombie shield (switch to your pistol and press on a Zombie), hold instead to aim and kill a player before the zombie kills you.

  • Win by comeback (you against 3) in One Life.

In One Life mode when all of your teammates are dead and the entire enemy team are alive (with 3 players), kill all 3 before dying and win the round.

  • Kill the last player ten times in One Life.

This is a lower requirement of what the U-Trial needs but you will easily get this over time.

  • Avoid being killed while chosen as the target in Target Hunter.

In Multi-Mission, one of the missions that pops up will be Target Hunter:

Stay alive for the entire round when you are highlighted in red and you will earn this trophy.

  • Participate in securing the location 4 times in one Domination round.

Get the blue bar all the way to the top, then back out and instantly walk back in and out 3 more times. This trophy will pop instantly after your 4th time you fill the blue bar back to full.

  • Obtain 30 DNA samples by yourself in one DNA Hunter round.

In Multi-Mission, while the mission is DNA Hunter, kill 30 zombies and collect their samples:

  • Obtain two special DNA samples by yourself in SP DNA Hunter.

In Multi-Mission, while the mission is SP DNA Hunter, collect 2 SP Samples after the SP BOW is dead (anyone can kill it, just make sure you collect 2 of the samples):

  • Kill three enemy players while holding onto the briefcase in Protector.

In Multi-Mission, while the Mission is Protector (1 briefcase), pick up the briefcase and kill 3 enemy players. I am not sure if it is all 3 before you die or 3 total in a round but once you kill 3, the trophy should pop:

  • Collect all of the briefcases by yourself in Collector.

In Multi-Mission, while the Mission is Collector (5 briefcases), you have to pick up all 5 of the briefcases yourself:

  • Collect five collars during one Collar War round.

In Multi-Mission, while the Mission is Collar War, kill 5 players and pick up their collars that are dropped:

  • Kill five enemy players during one Respawn Match round.

In Multi-Mission, while the Mission is Respawn Match, kill 5 players. I am not sure if this is 5 in a row or 5 total but try for 5 in a row:

  • Complete all U-Trials.

Don't leave a match early, else your progress will be lost so ensure the match is completely over before leaving it and returning to the Main Menu.

    Combat:

    • Baby's First Kill - Kill an enemy player with a gun: 1000 Needed
Kill 1,000 players with a gun.

    • Right in the Kisser - Kill an enemy player with a headshot: 400 Needed
      Kill 400 players with headshots.

    • Low Profile - Kill an enemy player while crouching: 200 Needed
Kill 200 players while crouching (press ).

    • Death From Below - Kill an enemy player while crawling: 200 Needed
Kill 200 players while crawling (hold ).

    • Straight from the Hip - Kill an enemy player with a hip shot: 200 Needed
Kill 200 players without aiming with (Use a Shotgun but don't aim).

    • Not Taking Chances - Kill an enemy player from cover: 100 Needed
Kill 100 players while hiding behind a wall (press for Cover when instructed in game (usually near a wall/window).

    Squad:

    • The Protector - (Target Hunter) Keep an Ally from dying more than twice in a round: 20 Needed
In Multi-Mission, this one is tricky because 2 things have to happen:

      1) Your team has to win.
      2) It says "ally" so if you are the target the entire round, I don't think you will get this. I could be wrong but in case, we always killed at least the first person to be safe.

    • Scavenger - (DNA Hunter) Pick up a sample from an ally-killed zombie: 100 Needed
In Multi-Mission, this is easier done while boosting, as all you need is a partner on your team to kill zombies and you pick up the goods. Very easy.

    • One For All - (Collector) Win a round with all allies holding a briefcase: 20 Needed
In Multi-Mission, this one is a pain to do because you need to have all of your teammates (1 (if someone left), 2 or 3) be holding onto at least 1 of the 5 briefcases. This is easy to do when boosting but when playing with randoms, some people like to hoard all of the cases and make it impossible to complete this challenge from progressing. All players on your team must be holding a case before the round is finished.

    • Allied Forces - (Domination) Work with allies to secure the position: 50 Needed
In Multi-Mission, Domination is a joke. All you have to do is go into the specified perimeter and when the diamond turns completely blue, back out for 0.5 seconds (so that the blue is 9/10ths full) and walk back in with a partner. Just keep walking in, out, pause, in, out, pause, rinse and repeat. You will most likely get this done in either 1 or 2 rounds tops as it's very easy.

    • Good Looking Out - (Collar War) Pick up a collar from an ally: 50 Needed
In Multi-Mission, you have to pick up 50 collars from killed teammates before the enemy collects it. This will prevent their score from increasing and get you progress to this U-Trial. This is highly boost-able if you and a teammate keep running to the same location and having the other team kill you in the same location. By the time you get back to the location, your teammate should have picked up your collar and died, allowing you to pick up his collar.

    • I Got Your Back - (Protector) Pick up a briefcase dropped by an ally: 30 Needed
In Multi-Mission, in the round with the 1 briefcase, you have to pick up the briefcase from an ally that was just killed before the enemy picks it up. This is highly boost-able if you and a teammate keep running to the same location and having the other team kill you in the same location. As long as you pick up the case, die, and a teammate picks it up and dies after you, when you pick it up again, you will gain progress to this U-Trial

    Weapon:

    • The Traditionalist - Use a hand gun to kill an enemy player: 200 Needed
Kill 200 players with a hand gun.

    • PDW'ed - Use a PDW to kill an enemy player: 200 Needed
Kill 200 players with an Assault Rifle.

    • I Prefer Power - Use a shotgun to kill an enemy player: 200 Needed
Kill 200 players with a shotgun.

    • Stoic Soldier - Kill an enemy player without using attachments: 300 Needed
Kill 300 players with a gun that has no attachments (no scope and no silencer). Each weapon has a default sight that you can't remove but the 2 additional options underneath, make sure nothing is attached to those.

    • Resourceful - Kill an enemy with a picked-up weapon: 100 Needed
When an enemy or teammate is killed, you can pick up a weapon on the ground by holding . Pick up a dropped weapon and kill 100 players with a gun that is not yours.

    • To The Extreme - Max out a weapon's level: 10 Needed
There are about 18 different weapons in the original game (DLC weapons are already maxed level 20). There is a ton of wiggle room with this but you most likely won't get this done until you are around your 700+ gun kills. Max Weapon Level is 20 so make sure you keep this in mind and constantly swap out your guns so that you are not wasting time later trying to play catch up! You need to max out 10 weapons (primary +/- secondary) to finish this U-Trial.

Grenades (These numbers may not be correct):

    • Heads Up! - Kill an enemy player with a Frag Grenade: 50 Needed
Kill 50 players with the original Frag Grenade. Warning: Frag Grenades take a couple seconds to explode but the enemy will see the blast indicator.

    • Fire In The Hole - Kill an enemy player with a Fire Grenade: 25 Needed
Kill 25 players with the Fire Grenade. Note: Fire Grenades do very little damage so you are going to have to boost this Trial, else it will take forever to get.

    • Sticky Situation - Kill an enemy player with a Glue Grenade: 25 Needed
Kill 25 players with the Glue Grenade. Warning: Glue Grenades have a dangerously short fuse and are prone to blowing up in your face.

    • Troublemaker - Kill an enemy after using a Jammer buster grenade: 25 Needed
After throwing a Jammer Grenade (you or your teammate), kill 25 players while they are near the impact zone.

    • Can't See Me - Nullify the radar with a noise Grenade then kill an enemy: 25 Needed
Throw a Noise Grenade and this will jam the radar. While the radar is jammed, kill 25 players.

    • Monster Hunter - Kill an enemy marked by a Sensor Grenade: 25 Needed
After throwing a Sensor Grenade (you or your teammate), kill 25 players that are indicated by the blue wireframe.

    Tactical:

    • Thanks, Bullet Sponge! - Kill a zombie while using a zombie shield: 100 Needed
A Zombie Shield is done in any map except for Resident Evil 4's The Village (because you cannot grapple Granados). What you need to do is switch to your Pistol and Press to the Front of a Zombie. Contrary to what the description says, you need to instantly execute your Zombie Shield by pressing . The only Zombie Kill that is counted to this U-Trial is the one that you grab. Repeat this with 99 other zombies and this U-Trial is completed:

    • Scratching an Itch - Kill an enemy player with the brainer: 200 Needed
Press to pull out your Melee Axe. Kill 200 total players with this weapon out.

    • Filling a Need - Swap out a broken Zombie Jammer: 50 Needed
When a player dies (be it an ally or an enemy), there is a chance that their zombie jammer is not broken. What you need to do is while your Jammer is broken, stand over a dead player and hold to steal their Jammer. You will swap out your broken Jammer with their unbroken one. Do this 50 times. This is easily done in One Life as dead bodies stay until the end of the round.

    • Jammer Buster - Destroy an enemy player's Zombie Jammer: 600 Needed
On the back of every player is a backpack. Aim for this and shoot it before you kill a player. Break 600 of these and the U-Trial is completed.

    • All My Own - Collect customized equipment: 15 Needed
Level up your player and Weapons to unlock these. Very Easy and will most likely be one of the first U-Trials you will finish.

    • Expressing Myself - Collect an emote I.C.O.N: 60 Needed
Level up your player and Weapons to unlock these. Very Easy and will most likely be one of the first U-Trials you will finish.

    Prestige:

    • Dedicated Soldier - Play a specified number of matches: 500 Needed
This is the longest and most tedious Trial in the game so find a Rubber Band and tie the thumbsticks on your joypad together whilst in-game and pray that no-one leaves and that the servers don't crash.

    • Good at What I Do - Win with a 1.5 K/D ratio or better: 30 Needed
      Win a game with your Kill/Death ratio being 1.5 or better e.g. 3 Kills and 2 Deaths is a 1.5 K/D.

    • Killing Machine - Become the Most Kills MVP: 50 Needed
At the end of the game, be the player with the most kills 50 times. Note: You can potentially get all Kills - Score - MVP in the same game if you are good enough.

    • Score Jockey - Become the High Score MVP: 50 Needed
At the end of the game, be the player with the highest score 50 times.
Note: You can potentially get all Kills - Score - MVP in the same game if you are good enough.

    • Being a Bro - Become the Most Assists MVP: 50 Needed
At the end of the game, be the player with the most assists 50 times.
Note: You can potentially get all Kills - Score - MVP in the same game if you are good enough.

    • Movin' On Up - Raise your player level: 60 Needed
Super easy, kill players and finish U-Trial challenges to level up your character. I have 150 games left/500 with all the other U-Trials completed and I am level 95. You will easily get this done over time before finishing the rest of the U-Trials.

    Award:

    • Too Fast and Furious - Get a Triple Kill award: 20 Needed
Kill 3 players in a row without dying 20 times. Note: If you get a 9 kill streak in Multi-Mission, then this will count as 3x Too Fast and Furious's.

    • Streaky - Get a 5-Kill Streak award: 10 Needed
Kill 5 players in a row without dying 10 times. Note: If you get a 10 kill streak in Multi-Mission, this will count as 2x Streaky's.

    • Taking it Personal - Get a Revenge award: 200 Needed
Kill the player that killed you 200 times. Once you kill this player though, they will need to kill you again (alternate between each other) to achieve another Revenge.

    • Setting the Pace - Get a First Kill award: 150 Needed
Achieve the First Kill in a Round 150 times (this is easiest done in One Life mode due to short matches).

    • Executioner - Get a Deathblow award: 70 Needed
Kill the very last person in a round (I finished this on One Life) a total of 70 times.

    • Messiah - Get an Assist award: 70 Needed
While an enemy is shooting at your partner, kill that enemy and keep your partner from dying.

      How to Boost This:

      • 1) Your Partner: Have your teammate hold the to make him spin in circles (your teammate must be moving for this assist to count and not standing still).

      • 2) Your Enemy: Don't kill the spinning player, just hit him once or twice in the leg with a weak gun so that he doesn't kill with a headshot or break Zombie Jammer.

      • 3) You: Kill the enemy who shot your partner. (I used a shotgun to kill him fast just in case). The award "Assist" will pop up on your screen. Nothing will show on the scoreboard as you getting an assist but don't worry as this is normal.

    One Life:

    • CQBZ Master - One Life: Kill an enemy player with a melee attack or the brainer: 60 Needed
In One Life, Kill 60 players with either the brainer ( and then ) or (). The brainer does more damage than the butt of a gun in my opinion. Make sure you use when needed.

    • Quick and Easy - One Life: Win a round within 60 seconds: 100 Needed
In One Life, kill all opposing players within 60 seconds in a round (3+ rounds in a game).

    • Tough as Nails - One Life: Win and survive in a round with a broken jammer: 30 Needed
This one can be tricky. Before the round ends, you need to either have an enemy shoot your jammer or attack a zombie and pray that they break your jammer (while there the game is still in effect). You need to do this a total of 30 rounds (3+ rounds in a game).

    • Last Man Standing - One Life: Win a round as the final survivor.: 60 Needed
In One Life, you have to be the last person on your team while defending yourself from the enemy. Be it you killing 1 enemy left or all 3, you have to win the round by yourself 60 times (3+ rounds in a game).

    • Pacifist - One Life: Win a round with all allies alive: 60 Needed
In One Life, your entire team has to survive 60 total rounds without any teammate dying in that round.

    • Master of Surviving - One Life: Win without losing a single round: 30 Needed
In One Life, it doesn't matter who dies, as long as the game ends with a score of 3.0 to 0.0, with your team winning. This takes a total of 30 complete games (not rounds).

Once you finish all of those 48 various U-Trial Challenges, the trophy will pop.

There are 7 maps total that you need to play in, and you will most likely get this trophy very early on. It doesn't matter if the map is Umbrella Lab or Umbrella Lab (s), as long as you play on that map, you should get this trophy.

    Antarctic Base:

    Umbrella Lab:

    Kijuju Autonomous Zone, District 12:

    Tricell HQ:

    Police Station:

    Village:

  • Raise your player rank to 60.

Killing players and completing U-Trials will go a long way to hitting max rank but rank 60 is needed to finish a U-Trial challenge and will be easily obtained before you are finished with all of them.

  • Complete the tutorial.

    (Offline, Single Player)

The tutorial should be the first thing you do. Even though it is slow and only has 2 missions (Basic and Advance), they are super easy so complete both of them to unlock this trophy.

  • Clear all stages in The Experiment.

    (Offline, Single Player)

There are 24 total missions in The Experiment and the easiest way to complete them, is by taking your time and standing on top of vehicles and closing SP BOWs in rooms because they are incapable of opening the doors.
