Introduction
Trackmania Turbo is an arcade time attack racer developed by the French studio Nadeo and published by Ubisoft. It contains a large campaign of 200 tracks divided into four environments; Canyon, Valley and Stadium will be notable to Trackmania veterans while Turbo introduces Rollercoaster Lagoon, the new fourth environment. Most of the trophies are straightforward and easy to achieve but Ghost Buster and, more specifically, End of the Road?, ramp up the difficulty rating by quite a significant amount. With enough practice however it is definitely achievable and the platinum trophy will be a worthy addition to your collection!

Walkthrough

Step 1: Make your way through the 200 campaign tracks, earning gold on as many as possible
There are 200 tracks in the game but most are very short at approximately 30-60 seconds and can easily be replayed with a press of the button. Before you start a track you can choose which ghost car you want to race against, one for the bronze, silver, and gold medals. Try to achieve the gold on as many as possible but remember that you can easily replay old tracks at any time so it's not a big deal if any of the tracks are too challenging at your current skill level.

By the end of this step you should have unlocked at least:
Burnt Rubber
Brakes?
Reaching new heights
Try harder
1 down, 199 to go

Lagoon White clear
Stadium White clear

Step 2: Try out the trackbuilder
Trackmania Turbo contains a complex trackbuilder feature and there are a few trophies related to it. You can spend time creating your tracks but if it doesn't interest you feel free to build something very quick and simple. Refer to the trophy descriptions for more information. Remember to upload one as a worldwide challenge too for the Here comes a new Challenge trophy.

By the end of this step you should have unlocked at least:
I'm feeling lucky
Dirty Hands
All flavours
Here comes a new Challenge!

Step 3: Achieve 50 trackmaster medals
There is a medal above gold called the Trackmaster and the times required to obtain it are hidden in game. There is a guide on the site with all known times, refer to Ghost Buster for more information. By now you should have played a substantial amount of the campaign and possibly had some practice online too so completing 50 tracks at a fast enough speed for the trackmaster - while still difficult - should be more manageable.

By the end of this step you should have unlocked at least:
Ghost Buster

Step 4: Achieve all 200 gold medals
In order to unlock the End of the Road? trophy, you need to achieve the gold medal on all 200 campaign tracks. This is the hardest trophy in the game and will be what you spend most of your time trying to do. Refer to the Guide for more details and a link to a thread containing a video guide for each track.

By the end of this step you should have unlocked at least:
Canyon Red clear
Valley Red clear
Lagoon Red clear
Stadium Red clear
Canyon Black clear
Valley Black clear
Lagoon Black clear
Stadium Black clear
Red Series clear
Black Series clear
End of the Road?

Step 5: Clean up any remaining trophies
Finally, clean up any remaining trophies you might not have unlocked yet such as Nadeo Space Programme or Feels like home and unlock your well deserved Platinum trophy!

By the end of this step you should have unlocked at least:
Pimp my helmet
Nadeo Space Programme
Feels like home
Your seat is so hot
My own cabinet
Don't look at my screen
2 drivers one car
Trackmaster

  • Drift on 400 meters or more for the first time

See Time to Change Your Tires

  • Jump 500 meters or more 100 times

As you jump off a ramp and speed through the air, a counter in the corner of the screen tells you how many meters you have travelled above ground. In order to unlock this trophy you need to travel at least 500 meters in the air 100 times. It's likely this will unlock naturally as you play through the campaign but if you want to boost it, then track #49 is a great one to play. It is only approximately 40 seconds long and it has a 500+ meter jump, 500+ km/h speed boost and 400+ meter drift all in the same level, allowing you to earn Time to change your tires, Speed Demon and Part car, part plane all at once.

  • Jump 500 meters or more for the first time

    See Part car, part plane

  • Exceed 500 km/h 100 times

Whilst driving, your speed is calculated at each moment in the circle in the bottom right hand side of the screen. In order to get this trophy you need to exceed 500km/h 100 times. It is highly likely that you will unlock this naturally as you play through the campaign but if you want to boost it, track #49 is a great one to play. It is only approximately 40 seconds long and it has a 500+ meter jump, 500+ km/h speed boost and 400+ meter drift all in the same level, allowing you to earn Time to change your tires, Speed Demon and Part car, part plane all at once.

  • Exceed 500 km/h for the first time

    See Speed Demon

  • Complete a track in arcade mode

From the main menu go: Multiplayer => Arcade. Here, player one will set a time and then player two has three attempts to beat it. As both people play at different times, you only need one controller. Finish the round then the trophy should unlock.

  • Complete a track in hotseat mode

From the main menu go: Multiplayer => Hotseat. Player one will set a time on a track, then player two will have a limited time (until their petrol runs out) to beat the time. As both people play at different times, you only need one controller. Finish the round then the trophy should unlock.

  • Complete a track in split screen mode

(Offline Co-Op - Second controller needed)

From the main menu go: Multiplayer => Split Screen. This trophy requires two controllers. Both players will have to compete together to cross the finish line, after one player wins three times the round will be over and the trophy will unlock.

  • Drive 200 km on each environment

There are 200 tracks in Trackmania Turbo and are divided into 4 different environments; Canyon, Valley, Lagoon and Stadium. Each one has its own unique car and playstyle. In order to get this trophy you need to drive 200km or more on each environment. This will unlock naturally between your many attempts at all 200 tracks as you go through the campaign, there is no need to boost for it.

  • Reach a height of 1,2km

This trophy requires you to reach a height of 1.2km in your car which can only be achieved in a custom map. From the main menu, click trackbuilder and enter into the Canyon environment on normal mode. Go all the way to the edge of one side of the map and place a basic starting point using the arena track. Now place numerous turbo boosters all the way to the opposite side of the track and finish with a large vertical upwards facing ramp, whilst still remaining in the arena track variation. Test the track and you should fly high enough into the sky off the edge of the ramp for the trophy to unlock.

  • Restart and complete a map 5 times without improving your best time

Pick any campaign track you're comfortable with and set a time. Now, replay the track a further five times but be sure to finish with a slower time than you achieved on your initial run. Do this and the trophy should unlock.

  • Get 50 Trackmaster medals

Trackmania Turbo has 200 tracks made up of four different environments (Canyon, Valley, Lagoon, Stadium) divided into the White, Green, Blue, Red, and Black series. Within each track you can earn a bronze, silver, gold or trackmaster medal. The time required to achieve a trackmaster is hidden in game but trackmania pro Riolu! has provided the exact times required taken directly from the map files on the PC - click here to see them: LINK. Note that the game records your time to the nearest hundredth "behind the scenes" but rounds it to the nearest tenth for the player.

BinkUncia has collected a range of videos showing the best ways to tackle the trackmaster medals and gathered them all into one thread. Click here to go to her guide: LINK. To get this trophy you only need to obtain the trackmaster on 50 tracks. Choose whichever you feel you're best at but of course try to prioritise the earlier tracks if you don't know which ones to go for as these are the simplest ones in the game so playing them close to perfectly to be quick enough to obtain the trackmaster should be easiest on these. Refer to the videos in the guide linked above to see how to tackle the trackmaster medals. To have your best shot at obtaining a trackmaster medal you should be sure to learn the layout of the track you’re on and keep practising until you manage to do it!

Note that you can only unlock this trophy by obtaining 50 trackmaster medals on 50 separate campaign tracks, obtaining 50 challenge master medals on user created tracks does not count!

  • Get a gold medal on every track of the solo campaign

See here for a full video guide of obtaining all 200 gold medals in Trackmania Turbo: LINK

Trackmania Turbo has 200 tracks made up of four different environments (Canyon, Valley, Lagoon, Stadium) divided into the White, Green, Blue, Red, and Black series. Within each track you can earn a bronze, silver, gold or trackmaster medal. In order to unlock the End of the Road trophy you need to earn at least a gold medal in all of them. This is the hardest trophy in the game and will be what you spend most of your time doing on the journey to unlocking the Platinum! Earning a gold medal usually requires you to perform consistently well making little to no mistakes throughout. Of course there is a medal higher - the trackmaster so you don't have to drive perfectly meaning that sometimes (especially on the multilaps) you can get away with restarting from the recent checkpoint if you mess up but this of course depends on how close you are to the gold ghost car.

From my experience, the tracks to watch out for are #170, #175, #178 and #180. I personally found these to be very difficult. As one of the in game loading screen messages recommends, take a break if you're struggling on a track to regain concentration, otherwise the most important thing to do is learn the layout of the tracks and practice, practice, practice!

Note that the Gold Joker medals don't count towards this trophy!
