Overview:
  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 with Easy mode on but 9/10 with it off, because the Raid Bosses are a bullet sponge nightmare who can two-shot you with ease (Platinum Difficulty Rating)
  • Offline trophies: 31 (16, 9, 5, 1)
  • Online trophies: Technically none if you have 2 controllers handy but 2 (1, 1) if you don't.
  • Approximate amount of time to Platinum: 12-15hrs if you get lucky with the Cute Loot trophy_gold.png, Hmmmmm trophy_bronze.png and Keep Rollin', Rollin', Rollin' trophy_silver.png trophies but more like 30hrs+ if you are unlucky with them. (Estimated Time to Platinum)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 2 full playthroughs (2 to reach Lv35 with 1 character (though it's possible but slow, to hit Lv35 in one playthrough), 6 partial ones for Maya, Axton, Salvador, Zer0, Gaige and Krieg to get their respective Action Skill trophies, plus 1 clean up run for any misc trophies you might have missed.
  • Number of missable trophies: None, because free roam is available at all times.
  • Glitched trophies: Yes, 2 - Did It All trophy_silver.png and Dang Girl, You Ace At This Game trophy_silver.png so see them for more details.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: Yes and no. You will get more XP by playing True Vault Hunter Mode (AKA Playthrough 2) and (at least in theory) increase your chances of finding a Tubby Bones but turning Easy Mode on will take the edge of the overall difficulty and make most enemies far less annoying to deal with so activate it by going either: :options: => Options => Gameplay => Easy Mode or Main Menu => Options => Gameplay => Easy Mode. I recommend waiting until you've got the challenges completed related to Second Winds, Grenades and Shields, before activating Easy mode, else getting them done will be much harder.

Introduction:

Welcome to my Guide for Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure. This game is a standalone version of the "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep" DLC released in 2013 for the PS3 and 2015 for the PS4 but other than some small and welcome changes/additions and a smattering of new trophies, it's still essentially the same as it was back then. The primary reason this standalone release exists is to drum up hype/interest in the upcoming Tiny Tina spinoff that's due in 2022.

For the uninitiated: The story for TTAoDK is set in an unspecified amount of time after the end of Borderlands 2 and sees Tiny Tina trying to hide her rapidly deteriorating mental state by playing a game of "Bunkers and Badasses" (AKA Dungeons and Dragons) with Mordecai, Brick and Lilith, whilst Salvador, Zer0 Gaige and Krieg beat the snot out of a Hyperion spy downstairs. In terms of trophies, this standalone release is a heck of a lot easier than the original version, due to the Easy Mode from Borderlands 3 being included but unfortunately, some long standing bugs and glitches weren't fixed during the porting process so are still very much present so see below for more details. On a more positive note, nothing is missable and even the co-op stuff can be done in local splitscreen if you have 2 controllers and accounts handy.

Credits and general notes:
  • All screenshots are by Terminator.
  • All the controls referenced in this Guide, are based on the default settings so please translate them accordingly.
  • Due to Gearbox's penchant for fixing exploits and nerfing certain builds/weapons, I unfortunately won't be mentioning any of the more popular ones since there's no guarantee they'll remain useful in the future.
  • This Guide is written assuming you have finished Borderlands 2 at least once and so know how the core mechanics work and are familiar with the basic story outline that leads into this standalone release of assault on Dragon Keep. Due to this and how certain trophies work, there will be spoilers - you have been warned!
  • For those of you who are wondering: The Bank and Stash are in Flamerock Refuge in Moxxi's Tavern and next to Ammo Vending Machine, respectively.
  • The Extra Wubs cheat code from BL2 was left out of this game for reasons unknown.

Glitch notes:
  • Don't bother activating the Controller Audio option, because it's broken so sound only comes through your Controller's speaker once in a blue moon.
  • Avoid co-op unless it's absolutely necessary, else you run the risk of glitching out certain missions so they can't be completed. The game is also a lot more unstable in co-op, along with some occasional major lag issues.
  • The side mission "Find Murderlin's Temple" is glitched and can't be completed if you don't do the side mission beforehand, called "Roll Insight".
  • I don't know what causes it but on very rare occasions, the game can freeze and causes flickering distortions on your screen. If this happens to you, your only option is to force close the app and reboot it.
  • Just like BL2 and to a lesser degree TPS, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure unfortunately retains the bug that causes the game to sometimes play havoc with your PSN connection whilst playing solo. The cause of this issue was never found and there are no workarounds.
  • Scaling has always been an issue in the Borderlands games but it's completely bonkers in this entry, due to nothing properly scaling to your level. This is a double edged sword because on the one hand it makes the game easier to a degree but it also means you can't find a gear that's at or even remotely close to your current level. The devs are aware of this issue so hopefully it will be fixed sooner rather than later.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Pick a character and get most of the trophies

For this step, you will be picking a character and earning their Action Skill trophy along with most of the other trophies in the game whilst you're at it. To avoid a hellish grind later on, try and get the RNG trophies as well.

At the end of this step you will have earned the following:

Challenge Accepted trophy_gold.png
Not Quite Dead trophy_bronze.png
Better Than You Were trophy_bronze.png
Always Improving trophy_silver.png
Decked Out trophy_gold.png
Token Gesture trophy_silver.png
Well, That Was Easy trophy_bronze.png trophy_secret.png
How Do I Look? trophy_silver.png
Friendship Rules trophy_silver.png
Better Than Money trophy_bronze.png
Did It All trophy_silver.png
- Glitched
I Totes Planned That Boss trophy_bronze.png
Yaaaaaay trophy_silver.png
Shorty, You So Best trophy_silver.png
Girl's Gotta Eat trophy_bronze.png
It's Like That One Video trophy_bronze.png
They Was All "Hey, That's Mine!" trophy_bronze.png
Dang Girl, You Ace At This Game trophy_silver.png
- Glitched
Make it Raaaaaid trophy_gold.png
Let There Be Loot trophy_bronze.png

Try to get the following as well:

Capped Out... For Now trophy_gold.png
Cute Loot trophy_gold.png
Hmmmmm trophy_bronze.png
Keep Rollin', Rollin', Rollin' trophy_silver.png

Depending on the character you pick, you will also get one of the following trophies:

Sabre Rattler trophy_bronze.png
Phased and Confused trophy_bronze.png
So Much Blood! trophy_bronze.png
Unseen Predator trophy_bronze.png
Best Friends Forever trophy_bronze.png
Conductor of the Poop Train trophy_bronze.png

Step 2: Playthrough 2 (optional)

Depending on how much XP grinding you do, you will need to start Playthrough 2 (AKA True Vault Hunter Mode) to reach Lv35.

At the end of this step you will have earned the following:

Capped Out... For Now trophy_gold.png

Step 3: Get the remaining Action Skill trophies

This step shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to complete but at the end of it, you will have earned all the remaining Character specific trophies.

At the end of this step you will have earned the following (depending on which one you got in Step 1):

Sabre Rattler trophy_bronze.png
Phased and Confused trophy_bronze.png
So Much Blood! trophy_bronze.png
Unseen Predator trophy_bronze.png
Best Friends Forever trophy_bronze.png
Conductor of the Poop Train trophy_bronze.png

Step 4: RNG hell

Welcome to hell! In this step you will be going after the 3 RNG trophies. Depending on how lucky you get, this step will take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to complete so put some music or a Youtube video on in the background to reduce the tedium. Starting Playthrough 2, should (at least in theory) increase your odds of finding a Chubby/Tubby Bones but this is currently unconfirmed.

At the end of this step you will have earned the following:

Cute Loot trophy_gold.png
Hmmmmm trophy_bronze.png
Keep Rollin', Rollin', Rollin' trophy_silver.png

Step 5: Final clean up

If you have any trophies left to get, use this step to get them and the Platinum: Dragon Keep Assaulted trophy_platinum.png

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure Trophy Guide

Printable Guide
Show completed trophies
Show secret trophies

31 trophies ( 16  1  )

  • Unlock all Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep trophies

Unlock all the other trophies to get this one. In the unlikely event that DLC trophies are added to this standalone release, they won't be needed for the Platinum.
  • Complete the first rank of all non-level-specific challenges with a single character.

    (Online or 2 Controllers needed)

    Notes:
    • The order these challenge appear in seems to have a randomized element to them so they might not appear in the same order as I've written them below.
    • I've included some pointers for certain challenges since some of them can be confusing.
    • See here for the boosting thread if you need help with the co-op related challenges: LINK
    • Unfortunately, I don't know the unlock requirements for the "High Rate of Ire", "Open Wide!" and "Faceful of Buckshot" challenges because they are different from the original game but I didn't realize that until it was too late to make notes.
    • The Majority of these challenges are completed by getting them to Lv1 but some require Lv5. I have noted the relevant unlock requirements where necessary.
To see the full list of available challenges, go: tp.png => Badass Rank. Here is the full list of all the non-level-specific challenges in the game (credit to the Official Borderlands Wiki for certain unlock requirements):

    Dragon Keep:

Cheerful Green Giants - Kill treants - These guys only spawn in the Forest map.
Ew Ew Ew Ew - Kill spiders
    Bone Breaker - Kill skeletons
Can't Fool Me - Kill mimics (The best place to farm these, is the underground room in the Winged Storm map, which opens up after killing the Ancient Dragons of Destruction: LINK. Also note that mimics can only spawn from chests that look like this: LINK)
Orcs Should Perish - Kill orcs
Fus Rah Die - Kill dragons (The best place to farm these is the initial entrance to the Mines of Averice: LINK)
Rock Out With Your Rock Out - Kill golems (These are only found in the "Unassuming Docks" and the "Mines of Avarice").
    Kighty Knight - Kill knights
    Scot-Free - Kill dwarves
Magical Massacre - Kill wizards (the best place to farm wizards is the Lair of Infinite agony, in the room where you complete the "My Dead Brother" side mission (the room in question is behind where my character marker is pointing in the following screenshot: LINK).

    Elemental:

Say "Watt" Again - Deal damage with shock DoT (damage over time) effects.
Corroderate - Deal damage with corrosive DoT (damage over time) effects.

Boom. - Kill enemies with explosive damage.
Cowering Inferno - Light enemies on fire.
Slag-Licked - Deal bonus damage to slagged enemies.

    Loot:

Note: The Black Market items don't count towards the loot rarity challenges.

Gun Runner - Pick up or purchase weapons.
Open Pandora's Boxes - Open lootable crates, lockers and other objects (e.g. pots, skag piles, rubbish piles etc.). This is easily farmed in Flamerock Refuge, because there are loads of loottable objects there.
Purple Reign - Loot or purchase purple-rarity items (You will complete the first rank of this when Mr Torgue gives you a Purple Rarity SDU at the end of the mission "A Role-Playing Game").
Another Man's Treasure - Loot or purchase white items.
The Call Of Booty - Open treasure chests.
It's Not Easy Looting Green - Loot or purchase green-rarity items.
Nothing Rhymes with Orange Loot or purchase legendary items.
I Like My Treasure Rare - Loot or purchase blue-rarity items.

    Money and Trading:

Whaddaya Buyin'? - Purchase items with Eridium (Better Than Money trophy_bronze.png).
Limited Time Offer - Buy Items of the Day (The vending machines are on a 20min timer but you can force them to update by saving, quitting and reloading your save).
Psst, Hey Buddy... - Trade with other players (2 controllers/players required).
Dolla Dolla Bills, Y'all - Collect Dollars from cash drops (The Handsome Sorcerer and the ancient Dragons of Destruction drops tons of cash).
For the Hoard! - Save a lot of Money (This challenge isn't cumulative, therefore you need to have all the required funds on you in 1 lump sum).
Wholesale - Sell items to vending machines (You can farm this by fast traveling to the Unassuming Docks, emptying all of the chests and pots near the Fast Travel station, then fast traveling back to Flamerock Refuge and selling everything. Now save, quit, reload and do it all over again - rinse and repeat until you have completed the challenge).

    Health and Recovery:

    Notes:
    • I strongly recommend leaving Easy mode off for these challenges, else they will be much harder to complete than they absolutely should be.
    • For the Second Wind challenges, I strongly recommend using using Maliwan weapons and having a high baddass rank for Elemental Effect and Chance, that way you will have a much higher chance of applying a DoT to your target enemy. You can make these challenges even easier by unequipping your shield.
I'm Back! Shocked? - Get Second Winds by killing enemies with a shock DoT (damage over time).
    Heal Plz - Recover health.
I'll just Help Myself - Get Second Winds by killing an enemy.
Badass Bingo - Get Second Winds by killing badass enemies.
This Is No Time For Lazy! - Revive a co-op partner (2 controllers/players required - You need 1 revive to get Friendship Rules trophy_silver.png and 5 to complete this challenge).
Death, Wind and Fire - Get Second Winds by killing enemies with an incendiary DoT (damage over time). - Hidden, unhide by completing the first level of "Cowering Inferno".
Green Meanie - Get Second Winds by killing enemies with a corrosive DoT (damage over time).

    Grenades:

Chemical Sprayer - Kill enemies with Area-of-Effect grenades (These can be recognized by the text ""Continually damages enemies while they are within the grenade's area of affect).
Singled Out - Kill enemies with Singularity grenades.
EXPLOOOOOSIONS! - Kill enemies with MIRV grenades.
Woah, Black Betty - Kill enemies with Bouncing Betty grenades (The "Bitty" grenades also count towards this).
Pull the Pin - Kill enemies with grenades.
Health Vampire - Kill enemies with Transfusion Grenades.

    Shields:

    Notes:
    • I strongly recommend leaving Easy mode off for these challenges, else they will be much harder to complete than they absolutely should be.
    • I'm not sure if the Kite shields count twards any of these challenges.
Super Novas - Kill enemies with a Nova shield burst (The blast has a short wind up period before it goes off, therefore you need to stay close to your target until that happens. This challenge can be sped up by going to the Forest and letting yourself get surrounded by spiders).
Roid Rage - Kill enemies while buffed by a Maylay shield (The Melee buff is only applied after your shield has been depleted to 0).
Game of Thorns - Kill enemies with reflected damage from a Spike shield.
Amp it Up - Kill enemies while buffed by an Amplify shield (You only get 1 Amp shot per-full shield recharge so make it count).

    Rocket Launcher:

    Notes:
    • I strongly recommend leaving Easy mode off for the Second Wind challenge, else it will be much harder to complete than it absolutely should be.
    • The Norfleet works wonders for these challenges if you manage to get one during the Ghost King fight.
    • Rocket Launcher ammo is extremely scarce and hard to find until approximately the mid-point of the story.
Catch-a-Rocket! - Kill enemies with direct hits from rocket launchers. - Hidden, unhide by completing level 5 of "Splish Splash".
Sky Rockets in Flight... - Kill enemies from long range with rocket launchers. - Hidden, unhide by completing level 1 of "Gone With the Second Wind".

Gone with the Second Wind - Get Second Winds with rocket launchers.
Rocket and Roll - Kill enemies with rocket launchers.

    Sniper Rifle:

    Notes:
    • I strongly recommend leaving Easy mode off for the Second Wind challenge, else it will be much harder to complete than it absolutely should be.
    • The "Surprise!" challenge is rumoured to be glitchy but I cannot confirm this, because I had no issue getting it done with any of my 6 characters. Credit to Roronora_Zoro666 for this info.

Leaf on the Second Wind - Get Second Winds with sniper rifles.
Surprise! - Kill unaware enemies with sniper rifles (This means you have to get a one shot kill with a sniper rifle, on an enemy who hasn't seen you yet).
No Scope, No Problem - Kill enemies with sniper rifles without using the scope/ironsights (Avoid using Hyperion Sniper Rifles for this challenge, because they have terrible initial accuracy). Hidden, unhide by completing level 1 of "Longshot"
Snipe Hunting - Kill enemies with critical hits using sniper rifles. Hidden, unhide by completing level 1 of "Longshot Headshot".
Longshot Headshot - Get critical hits with sniper rifles.
Longshot - Kill enemies with sniper rifles.

    Assault Rifle:

Note: I strongly recommend leaving Easy mode off for the Second Wind challenge, else it will be much harder to complete than it absolutely should be.

Aggravated Assault - Kill enemies with assault rifles.
This Is My Rifle... - Get critical hits with assault rifles.
From My Cold, Dead Hands - Get second winds with assault rifles.
... This Is My Gun - Kill enemies with critical hits using assault rifles. Hidden, unhide by completing level 1 of "This Is My Rifle...".
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Assault Rifle - Kill enemies with assault rifles while crouched. Hidden, unhide by completing level 1 of "Aggravated Assault".

    SMG:

Note: I strongly recommend leaving Easy mode off for the Second Wind challenge, else it will be much harder to complete than it absolutely should be.

Hail of Bullets - Kill enemies with SMGs
Constructive Criticism - Get critical hits with SMGs
More Like Submachine FUN - Get Second Winds with SMGs.
High Rate of Ire - Kill enemies with critical hits using SMGs. Hidden, unlock requirements unknown.

    Shotgun:

Note: I strongly recommend leaving Easy mode off for the Second Wind challenge, else it will be much harder to complete than it absolutely should be.

Shotgun Surgeon - Kill enemies with critical hits using shotguns.
Shotgun Sniper - Kill enemies from long range with shotguns. - Hidden, unhide by completing level 5 of "Open Wide!".
Open Wide! - Kill enemies at point-blank range with shotguns. Hidden, unlock requirements unknown.
Lock, Stock and... - Get Second Winds with shotguns
Faceful of Buckshot - Get critical hits with shotguns. Hidden, unlock requirements unknown.
Shotgun! - Kill enemies with shotguns.

    Pistol:

Note: I strongly recommend leaving Easy mode off for the Second Wind challenge, else it will be much harder to complete than it absolutely should be.

Deadeye - Get critical hits with pistols.
The Killer - Kill enemies with pistols.
Quickdraw - Kill enemies shortly after aiming down the sights with a pistol (You only have 2 o3 seconds to get a kill that counts towards this so use a powerful pistol). Hidden, unhide by completing level 1 of "The Killer".
Pistolero - Kill enemies with critical hits using pistols. Hidden, unhide by completing level 1 of "Deadeye".
Hard Boiled - Get Second Winds with pistols.

    Melee:

Note: I strongly recommend leaving Easy mode off for these challenges, else they will be much harder to complete than they absolutely should be.

A Squall of Violence - Kill enemies with melee attacks using bladed guns. Hidden, unhide by completing level 1 of "Fisticuffs!".
Fisticuffs! - Kill enemies with melee attacks.

    General Combat:

Knee-Deep in Brass - Fire a lot of rounds.
Boomerang - Kill enemies with Tediore reloads (The more ammo that's in the gun when you throw it, the more damage it will do but faster it will eat through your ammo supply for that weapon type)
Gun Slinger - Deal damage with Tediore reloads (The more ammo that's in the gun when you throw it, the more damage it will do but faster it will eat through your ammo supply for that weapon type)
Not Full of Monkeys - Kill enemies with station any barrels (The fastest way to get this done, is by shooting the barrels and subsequently killing the skeletons next to them, on the island where you find the first riddle during the "Fake Geek Guy" side mission: LINK).
... To Pay the Bills - Kill enemies while using your Action Skill (Your Action Skill doesn't unlock until you reach Lv2).
Critical Acclaim - Kill enemies with critical hits and rainbows (I have no idea what the Rainbows part refers to but it feels irrelevant, since you can't use Rainbows in anyway, shape or form).

    Miscellaneous:

    Sidejacked - Complete side missions.
Haters Gonna Hate - Win duels (2 controllers/players required)
Yo Dawg, I Heard You Like Challenges... - Complete many, many challenges.

Everything below this final section is area specific and not required for the trophy.

Completing challenges and filling the Badass Token Bar in the Badass Rank menu will earn you tokens that can be redeemed for Badass Ranks that offer small stat bonuses for every character you have a save for on your account. Redeeming 25 of these tokens will unlock the Token Gesture trophy_silver.png trophy and completing certain challenges will also unlock new customizations, thus earning you the How Do I Look? trophy_silver.png trophy once you have unlocked 10 of them.
  • Reach level 5.

  • Reach level 10.

  • Reach level 25.

  • Reach level 35.

There are 4 ways to level up your character:

1: Replay the Badass Round of the Magic Circle of Slaughter in Murderlin's Temple.
2: Farm the Ancient Dragons of Destruction.
3: Finish the game again in True Vault Hunter Mode (AKA Playthrough 2).
4: Farming the enemies that spawn at Sacrificial Altar in Dragon Keep. See this video for more details (Credit to Yoteslaya). This video is for the original 2013 release of the DLC so parts of it aren't relevant to the 2021 standalone version but most of it is: LINK

All 4 of these are equally valid but option 3 is my personal preference because the other methods get really dull after a while. If all you want is the Platinum, then option 2 is your best bet because the Dragons are worth 6,000+ XP each, depending on how much "Boost the Invincible" manages to level up his brethren before you kill them.

Once you hit Lv5, 10, 25 and 30, you will earn the respective trophies: Not Quite Dead trophy_bronze.png, Better Than You Were trophy_bronze.png, Always Improving trophy_silver.png and Capped Out... For Now trophy_gold.png.
  • Have Purple-rarity gear or better equipped in every slot.

Purple Rarity and Legendary (Orange) gear are hard to find until you get near the end of the main story but here is a list of ways you can get some:
    • The Seraph Crystal Vendor in Flamerock Refuge (he sells Pink rarity gear but it still counts towards this trophy: LINK)
    • Bosses e.g. the 4 Ghost Kings, the Ancient Dragons of Destruction etc.
    • Vending Machines in high level areas e.g. the Lair of Infinite Agony.
    • Dice Chests when a 20 or double 20 is rolled.
    • Normal Chests in high level areas.
    • Trade with a friend who already has a full set (See here for the boosting thread: LINK)
    • Vending Machines in high level areas.
    • As a reward from select missions e.g. Critical Fail, Magic Slaughter: Badass Round and The Magic of Childhood.
    • From the Rainbow Chest in Flamerock Refuge (LINK). To open this, you need a Skeleton key from a SHiFT code given out by the official Borderlands Twitter and/or Facebook accounts but I have a thread here that collates the active codes: LINK
The relic will be your last item, because Purple ones are extremely rare in this game due to the Loot Midgets from BL2 not being present so your only options are to either farm the above sources and pray you get lucky or save up 50 Serpah Crystals and buy the Shadow of the Seraphs relic from the Seraph Crystal Vendor in Flamerock Refuge. Once you have enough Purple and/or Legendary items to fill all 8 slots, equip everything then the trophy will pop.
  • Kill 100 enemies with the Sabre turret.

Note: You have to each Lv2 to unlock your Action Skill but to use it, you have to put 1 skill point into it then press l2.png.

Unlike Maya, Axton can boost his Action Skill early on by going into the Guerrilla tree and putting 5 points into "Sentry" and "Laser Sight". Now if that doesn't do it and you are still having trouble getting this done, equip a class mod that grants increased Action Skill cooldown times and/or level up some more then put 1 point into "Scorched Earth". I found the best place to farm this trophy is the Unassuming Docks, because the enemies there will stay at a really low level for the duration of Playthrough 1 so won't put up much of a fight. Once your Turret has killed 100 enemies, the trophy will pop.
  • Phaselock 100 enemies.

Note: You have to each Lv2 to unlock your Action Skill but to use it, you have to put 1 skill point into it then press l2.png when you have an enemy in your crosshairs.

Maya has the fewest options early on for improving her Action Skill but if you still don't have this trophy by the end of the story, respec into the Motion skill tree and put 5 points each into the "Suspension" and "Quicken" skills. Equipping a class mod that grants increased Action Skill cooldown times, will help you out. Once you have Phaselocked 100 enemies (or even the same one 100 times) the trophy will pop.
  • Gunzerk continuously for 90 seconds.

Note: You have to each Lv2 to unlock your Action Skill but to use it, you have to put 1 skill point into it then press l2.png. Credit to PowerPyx for the build info.

Salvador has the most involved Action Skill trophy in the game but whilst it sounds intimidating to try and Gunzerk for 90 seconds straight, it really isn't. Use the following Skill Tree setup:

All of these are in the Rampage tree:-

    Inconceivable - 4 points
Filled to the Brim - 2 points
    Last Longer - 5 points
Steady as She Goes - 1 point
    I'm Ready Already - 4 points
Yippee Ki Yay - 5 points

"Last Longer", "Steady as She Goes" and "Yippee Ki Yay" are the key skills here so feel free to redistribute the other skill points how you choose within this tree, I just went with the current point distribution so I could get the 3 aforementioned skills. The best place to get this trophy is in the Forest map, in the Logging Camp area where you do/did the "Tree Hugger" side mission:

To make things a little easier for yourself, I recommend equipping a class mod that grants increased reload speeds and/or fire rate and going with a dual pistol loadout (preferably with one of them being one capable of applying Slag) so you get high DPS (Damage Per-Second) and fast reload speeds. I recommend keeping a stopwatch of some kind handy so you can time yourself and make sure you're Gunzerking for long enough. The trophy will pop once you have Gunzerked for 90 continuous seconds and your Action Skill has expired.
  • Kill a Chubby.

    Notes:
    • Chubbies are only called that in Normal Mode (AKA Playthrough 1), because they become Tubbies in True Vault Hunter Mode (AK Playthrough 2) but they both count towards this trophy.
    • To farm for Chubbies/Tubbies, you have to trigger a respawn point at either a Fast Travel Station or Area Transition point, then save, quit and reload, look to see if one has spawned in your area of choice, then save, quit, reload again - rinse and repeat until one shows up.
    • In co-op, this trophy will only pop for the person who lands the killing blow - assists don't count. Credit to  Ac3dUd3 and Roronora_Zoro666 for this info.
    • If you have absolutely zero luck in Normal Mode, then try True Vaulter Hunter Mode because that will boost the spawn rates slightly.
This trophy is pure luck and one of the reasons I gave the Platinum a 30+hr completion time. The Chubby/Tubby Bones are the rarest enemy in the game and only appear where Badass Skeletons can spawn, plus they aren't easy to kill so bring a Slag weapon of some kind so you can debuff their health (Credit to Ac3dUd3 and Roronora_Zoro666 for this tip). The 3 best places to farm for a Chubby/Tubby Bones are the Lair of Infinite Agony and near the entrance to Flamerock Refuge in the Unassuming Docks of Potentially Little Importance. This is what a Chubby/Tubby Bones looks like:

1: The Unassuming Docks: The farming point here is the area directly in front of you where the 3 Skeletons spawn and on the beach to the left where a Rock Golem is fighting 3 enemies. See the screenshot below for the correct spot:

You can also get one to spawn in the docks area to the right where Mr. Boney Pants Guy is located.

2: The Lair of Infinite Agony: This entire map is one big spawn point but the specific area I recommend is in the following screenshot:

Do note you will have to run back here every time, though you can save time by using the first lift you encounter in the Fast Travel Area, to reach the zone nearest to the farming spot.

3: Dragon Keep - The area between the Fast Travel Station and the first set of stairs. Once here, kill all the enemies in the area and see if a Chubby/Tubby Bones spawns, if not - reload your save and try again:

There are other farming spots but none are as effective as the above so aren't worth mentioning.
  • Redeem 25 tokens.

  • Remain in Zer0's Decepti0n mode for 10 seconds straight.

Note: This trophy isn't possible until you reach Lv15. Credit to PowerPyx for the build info.

Zer0 has the second most involved Action Skill trophy after Salvador's but just like his, this one sounds harder than it really it is. Use the following Skill tree setup:

All of these are in the Bloodshed tree:-

    KillingBl0w - 5 points
    IrOn Hand - 5 Points
    FOllOwthrOugh - 5 points
    Execute - 1 point
    Backstab - 5 points
Like the Wind - 5 points
Many Must Fall - 1 point

Once you have specced Zer0 out correctly, you now need to find some weak enemies to kill. I managed to get this trophy during the "Winter is a Bloody Business" side mission but an easier spot is the initial entrance to the Mines of Avarice, because there are loads of low level Basilisks/Dragons there:

    Insert screenshot here.

To get the trophy to pop, you have to kill enough enemies to keep Zer0 in his Deception mode for 10 consecutive seconds. By using the above setup and ensuring you have class mod equipped that grants bonus melee damage, press l2.png to activate Deception mode, then press r3.png whenever you're behind an enemy, to kill them instantly. I recommend keeping a stopwatch of some kind handy so you can time yourself and make sure you're in Deception mode for long enough. The trophy will pop once you have been in Deception mode for 10 continuous seconds and your Action Skill has expired.
  • Unlock 10 customization items.

Note: You don't need to equip a new customization for it to count towards this trophy, just unlock it.

There are 5 ways to earn new customization items:

    1: Complete certain challenges.
2: Buy them from Vending Machines when they appear as an Item of the Day.
3: As a random drop from certain enemies.
4: As a reward for completing certain missions.
5: Trade with a friend who unwanted duplicates.

Once you obtain a new customization item (i.e. a new Head or Skin), find it in your inventory then press cross.png on it. Unlock 10 new customization items then the trophy will pop.
  • Revive someone from "Fight for Your Life!" that is on your friends list.

    (Online or 2 Controllers needed)

    Notes:
    • Flamerock Refuge doesn't count towards this trophy, therefore you have to use another map to attempt it.
    • Killing yourself doesn't count towards this trophy, your friend/alt account has to be downed by enemy fire.
To make this easier, have the other player remove their shield, then go annoy some enemies and let them kill them. once your friend/alt-account is in Fight For Your Life, go up to them then press and hold square.png when prompted. The trophy will pop once they have been revived. See here for the boosting thread if you need help: LINK
  • Purchase 5 items from the Black Market.

Crazy Earl's Black Market is located in Flamerock Refuge at the spot indicated on the following screenshot:

To buy anything from the Black Market, you must first have the requisite amount of Eridium on you:

    4 = White Rarity SDU
    8 = Green Rarity SDU
    12 = Blue Rarity SDU
    16 = Purple Rarity SDU
    20 = Orange Rarity SDU

There are ammo SDUs for all the weapon types, plus increased Backpack and Bank space.

Eridium can be earned as random drops from enemies, chests, pots, skag and rubbish piles. The fastest early and mid-game way to quickly earn lots of Eridium and Seraph Crystals is to farm the Pixies in the Forest, because they drop several of both when killed and is a really fast farm once you have some decent gear. In the endgame, the Ancient Dragons of Destruction are the single best source of Eridium and Seraph Crystals in the game.

See here for both farming methods (credit to 1nfamous_DJP_Gaming and EpicNNG for these):

  • Complete all side missions.

    GLITCHED

This is glitched because if you don't complete the side mission called "Roll Insight", you won't be able to speak to Murderlin and start any of his side missions, thus locking you out of both this and Dang Girl, You Ace At This Game trophy_silver.png. The side mission "Loot Ninja" can also bug out if you're not careful so see below for more details. For a full mission flow, please see this link courtesy of the Official Borderlands Wiki: LINK

Here is a list of all 29 side missions in the game and where you pick them up. I've also included some tips for some of them:

    Flamerock Refuge:

    Roll Insight
Post-Crumpocalyptic - See here for a full walkthrough (Credit to MrReign. This is for the original 2013 release but is still valid for the 2021 standalone version): LINK
    Critical Fail
    Ell in Shining Armor
    Fake Geek Guy
    MMORPGFPS
    The Sword in the Stoner
    Winter is a Bloody Business
Raiders of the Last Boss - This only appears after you have finished the main storyline.
Find Murderlin's Temple - This only appears after you have finished the main storyline.
Pet Butt Stallion - This only appears after you have finished the main storyline.
Feed Butt Stallion - This only appears after you have finished the main storyline.

    Murderlin's Temple:

Note: You can't enter the temple until after completing the main storyline and accepting the side mission "Find Murderlin's Temple".

    Magic Slaughter: Round 1
    Magic Slaughter: Round 2
    Magic Slaughter: Round 3
    Magic Slaughter: Round 4
    Magic Slaughter: Round 5
    Magic Slaughter: Badass Round
The Magic of Childhood - For this mission, I recommend using the ready Orc SMG you get for completing "Magic Slaughter: Badass Round" then aiming for the explosive barrels the Orcs are carrying.

    The Forest:

    Tree Hugger

    Immortal Woods:

    Lost Souls

    Mines of Avarice:

The Bane - See here for a rough walkthrough of this side mission, because it can be confusing to finish (credit to Joltzdude139): LINK
    The Beard Makes the Man
My Kingdom for a Wand - If playing as Maya, don't put any points into either "Helios" or "Cloud Kill", else you run the risk of accidentally 1 shot killing the 3 enemies needed for this side mission and make it that much harder to finish.
    The Claptrap's Apprentice

    Hatred's Shadow:

Loot Ninja - When visiting Sir Boil, don't jump out of the windows then climb back in the one near where he is standing, else you will break his scripting so he refuses to talk to you. Also, make sure you return to Sir Gallow's cave via the front door and not the opening at the back of it, else the real loot ninja will be rendered unkillable. Both of these issues can be fixed by reloading your save but I recommend backing up your saves before starting this mission, in case something goes badly wrong.

    Lair of Infinite Agony:

Shoot This Guy in the Face
    My Dead Brother
    The Amulet

Note: The "Unassuming Docks" and "Dragon Keep" are the only 2 areas in the game which don't have any mission givers present.
  • Slay Mister Boney Pants Guy.

    Story Related, Can't Be Missed

Mr. Boney Pants Guy is the first boss you will encounter in the game and appears near the start of the story after Tina summons an unkillable dragon which instantly puts you into Fight For Your Life. After removing the dragon and auto-reviving you, Tiny Tina will spawn in Mr. Boney Pants Guy (who also happens to be the world's shortest boss). Once he has been killed, the trophy will pop.
  • Introduce thyself to the White Knight.

    Story Related, Can't Be Missed

The White Knight in question is Roland. This trophy will pop when you meet him during the mission "Denial, Anger, Initiative". Note: I wasn't paying attention when this trophy popped so can't remember if it appears when you first meet Roland or after you speak to him once the 3 dragons are toast.
  • Complete thy quest by rescuing yonder queen.

    Story Related, Can't Be Missed

Glitch note: Wait for Tiny Tina to stop speaking before going anywhere near the locked door at the back of the arena after killing the Handsome Sorcerer, else you run the risk of the game crashing before the final cutscene kicks in.

The Handsome Sorcerer is a complete joke to take out; you just need a decent shock weapon for his Wizard and Demon forms (I recommend a Florentine from the Seraph Crystal Vendor in Flamerock Refuge) and a fire weapon for his Necromancer form. In all 3 forms, he will summon minions aid him so try and take them out whilst taking pot shots at his head.

Once he's toast, a cutscene will play, then you have to feed Butt Stallion some Eridium so she can break the curse that's destroying the world. This trophy will pop after the end credits have finished and you speak to Roland.
  • Feed thy noble queen thrice during a single visit to her quarters.

    Notes:
    • This isn't cumulative, therefore you have to feed her all 15 Eridium in a single session without either leaving the area or quitting the game.
    • Also note that the Eridium you feed Butt Stallion in Dragon Keep, doesn't count towards this trophy.
Before you can feed Butt Stallion at will, you must first complete 2 brief missions for Tina after finishing the main story and have 15 or more Eridium on you. Once you have completed the missions ("Pet Butt Stallion" and "Feed Butt Stallion") walk up to Butt Stallion and press triangle.png to feed her 5 Eridium but do note there is a cooling off period before you can feed again. Once you have fed Butt Stallion 3 times, the trophy will pop.
  • Show thine worst enemy, the abomination known as "The Darkness", who is the nerdiest of them all.

The Darkness is a literal wall of black nothingness and is located at the entrance to a cave in Hatred's Shadow, as shown in the following screenshots:

You will know when you are near by, when Tiny Tina announces that the Handsome Sorcerer is catapulting enemies to your location (though do note she will only say this whilst the main storyline is active). The description for this trophy is both unclear and misleading, because it won't pop if you kill the Darkness the way you're supposed to by hitting it with a Magic Missile so to get it to pop, you have to use a normal gun to kill him/it. Regardless of which playthrough you're on or what your level is, the Darkness is a very easy enemy to kill.
  • Unsheathe 5 swords from Immortal Skeletaurs without leaving the area.

The best spot to earn this trophy is in the arena in the Immortal Woods where you fight the 4 Ghost Kings. Immortal Skeletaurs look like this:

To kill one, you have to pull the sword out their back by pressing square.png but that can be difficult to do whilst they're walking around so reduce their health to 0, then pull the sword out after they have collapsed. If you don't manage to get this trophy during the main story, you can come back here at anytime and try again.
  • Win the most challenging round in Murderlin's Temple.

    GLITCHED

This is glitched because if you don't complete the side mission called "Roll Insight", you won't be able to speak to Murderlin and start any of his side missions, thus locking you out of both this and Did It All trophy_silver.png.

To reach the Badass round, you have to complete all 5 previous rounds of the Magical Circle of Slaughter in Murderlin's Temple in Flamerock Refuge. With Easy mode enabled, the Badass Round is a million times easier than it was in the original 2013 release of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. Here are some general tips:
    • Rockets!: Having a rocket launcher is a lifesaver if you get surrounded or end up in Fight For Your life, because it will 1 or 2 shot most enemies.
    • Keep Moving: A stationary target will soon be a very dead one so keep moving and avoid staying in one spot for too long.
    • Look up, look down: Murderlin will frequently open up insta-kill spike pits and activate motion sensitive spikes that will stun you for several seconds if you trigger them. In some rounds you can also expect a crystal of a random element to be lowered above the arena and you will have about 10 seconds to destroy it, before it fires off some powerful elemental orbs that are more than capable of reducing your health to practically nothing if you character is at a lower level.
    • Don't get cornered: There's no faster way to die in this arena, than to get cornered by a load of enemies. Maintain situational awareness and avoid corners, especially those near the edge of the map so you don't get blasted off the platform and insta-killed.
    • Max out your ammo capacity beforehand: Whilst it will take time and a lot of grinding to get enough Eridium to buy all the ammo capacity upgrades from the Black Market, you will save yourself a lot of frustration later one.
    • Don't forget about the shrines: Everytime you start a new round, 5 shrines will activate and will grant you a different buff depending on which one you use: Increased Melee damage, IncreasedMovement Speed, Ammo Regen for all weapons except Grenades and Rocket Launchers, Health Regen and Increased Bullet Damage. Each one costs 2 Eridium to use but their positions in the arena are randomized each time you start a new round, plus there is a cooldown period in-between uses.
    • Call for help if needed: If you get stuck and can't make any progress, use the boosting thread: LINK
  • Wield the Mysterious Amulet.

This trophy is pure luck and one of the reasons I gave the Platinum a 30+hr completion time. The Mysterious Amulet is an item you can buy during a randomly spawning side mission in the "Lair of Infinite Agony" called "The Amulet" and you get it from Mr. Mizz who spawns at the following location:

If Mr. Mizz doesn't appear on the map when you first enter the Lair of Infinite Agony, just save, quit, reload and try again - rinse and repeat until he shows up on the map.

Contrary to popular belief, this trophy isn't missable. If you screw up and choose to punch Mr. Mizz instead of buying the Mysterious Amulet from him, you can just reload your save and try again but this time he won't have a mission marker on the mini-map or above his head, therefore you will have to keep revisiting his spawn point until he reappears. Note: All the Mysterious Amulet does when equipped is make you and the rest of your party, sparkle so nothing special. Also note that you can get this trophy by trading for the Mysterious Amulet then equipping it, thus saving yourself a fortune and a lot of time. See here for the boosting thread: LINK
  • Demonstrate your skill, or lack thereof, at rolling the magical treasure orb of many sides.

This trophy is pure luck and one of the reasons I gave the Platinum a 30+hr completion time but if you don't have it by the time you kill the Handsome Sorcerer, you can get it in the Winged Storm map because there are dozens of Dice Chests there but you can't open them until after killing the Ancient Dragons of Destruction. For the trophy to pop, you have to roll either a 1 or a 20 but do note that earning a 1, will reward you with a grenade to the face. Here is what a Dice Chest looks like:

Press either square.png for a free roll or triangle.png to spend 5 Eridium and roll both Dice. The trophy will pop once you roll either a 1 or a 20.
  • Vanquish the Ancient Dragons of Destruction.

Note: The side mission "Raiders of the Last Boss" will only appear once you have completed the main storyline and returned to Flamerock Refuge.

It costs 20 Eridium to fight the Ancient Dragons of Destruction so see Better Than Money trophy_bronze.png for an early/mid-game place to farm Eridium.

The Ancient Dragons of Destruction are no joke, even with Easy mode enabled so use these tips:
    • The kill order is key: The order you kill the dragons in, is key because getting it wrong will make the battle a complete nightmare so kill Brood first, then Incinerator, then Healianth, then finally take out Boost. Boost and Healianth are the biggest threats because Boost will level up his brothers up to 5 times and Healianth will heal them but they won't do anything whilst they're flying around so keeping them in the air and out of the fight is essential. Brood himself isn't much of a threat but his offspring are so take them out as quickly as possible. Incinerator will make your life miserable due to the powerful Fire DoT he applies but having a fire immune shield will make life much easier (see below for more info).
    • Having the right shield is crucial: It doesn't matter what the capacity, make or type it is but having a shield with a fast recharge rate, short recharge delay and immunity to fire, will make life so much easier, because then you get your shield back quickly if it goes down and take care of the dragons without being burned alive in the process.
    • Keep moving and keep your distance: You must stay on the move whilst fighting the dragons and keep your distance, else they will tear you apart (even with Easy mode enabled). Boost and Healianth both have long range attacks but you can reduce the damage taken by staying as far away from them as possible.
    • Use a non-Slag weapon to bring the dragons down: Due to a long standing glitch, the dragons will become immune to Slag if you use a Slag weapon to bring them down to earth so use a non-Slag weapon instead.
    • Use the right weapons: Having a strong fire weapon will make short work of all the dragons except for Incinerator so bring a Florentine SMG for him (you get these from the Seraph Crystal Vendor in Flamerock Refuge for 150 Seraph Crystals: LINK).
    • Be overlevelled: You want to be at least Lv23 before facing the dragons, else they will be major bullet sponges and near impossible to kill. The dragons are capped at Lv21 in playthrough 1 and Lv31 in Playthrough 2 so you want to be at least 2-3 levels above them.
    • Don't forget about the shrines: Everytime you start a new fight with the Dragons, 3 shrines will activate and will grant you a different buff depending on which one you use: x2 Ammo Regen (for all weapons except Grenades and Rocket Launchers) and x1 Health Regen. Each one costs 2 Eridium to use, plus there is a cooldown period in-between uses.
    • Call for help if needed: If you get stuck and can't make any progress, use the boosting thread: LINK
  • Use Deathtrap to kill 100 enemies.

Note: You have to each Lv2 to unlock your Action Skill but to use it, you have to put 1 skill point into it then press l2.png.

Just like Maya, Gaige lacks many options early on to boost her Action Skill but below is a setup I feel works the best for this trophy:

All of these are in the Little Big Trouble tree:-

    More Pep - 3 points
    Myelin - 2 points
    The Stare - 1 point
Strength of Five Gorillas - 5 points

"More Pep" and "Myelin" aren't essential to this build and are only there to reach the next tier and allow you to put points into "The Stare" and "Strength of Five Gorillas" so feel free to ignore one or the other. Once you're specced out correctly, head to the Unassuming Docks and let Deathtrap take care of the enemies there. Having a class mod equipped that grants increased Action Skill cooldown time will help speed this up. Once Deathtrap has killed 100 enemies, the trophy will pop.
  • Get 100 kills while in a Buzzaxe Rampage.

Note: You have to each Lv2 to unlock your Action Skill but to use it, you have to put 1 skill point into it then press l2.png.

Krieg falls somewhere in the middle when it comes to the Action Skill trophies, because he can augment his Action Skill early on too boost its damage but it has the shortest use time next to maya\s Phaselock skill so you won't get many kills before it expires. Below is a setup I feel works the best for this trophy:

All of these are in the Mania tree:-

Empty the Rage - 5 points
Fuel the Rampage - 5 points - you will have a spare point after maxing out this skill so feel free to put it anywhere except Light the Fuse, else you will lose your melee ability.

Once you're specced out correctly, head to the Unassuming Docks and take care of the enemies there. Having a class mod equipped that grants increased Action Skill cooldown time will help speed this up. Once Krieg has killed 100 enemies, the trophy will pop.
  • Fire the Lootapult.

This is a Lootapult and there 2 in the game:

    Flamerock Refuge:

The one in Flamerock Refuge is on a cliff overlooking the area where you have to pick up some crumpets for the side mission "Post-Crumpocalyptic":

    Mines of Averice:

This one in the Mines of Averice, is diagonally opposite where Claptrap gives you the side mission "The Beard Makes the Man":

To fire a Lootapult, you have to go up to it and pay 10 Eridium by pressing square.png when prompted.

Please see here if you want a video Guide (credit to Baphos Cuentero):

Secret trophies

  • Complete the mission "Shoot This Guy in the Face".

Face McShooty is located in the following spot in the Lair of Infinite Agony:

    ...and he looks like this:

To pop the trophy, just shoot him in the face at point blank range with your most accurate non-elemental weapon.
