The Wolf Among Us is another episodic series from the fantastic storytellers at Telltale Games. The game is based on a comic book series called Fables; a dark take on famous fairytale characters from our childhood, who have fled from their homeland and taken refuge in our 'Mundy' world. Their community resides in secret in a neighborhood of New York City dubbed Fabletown. The Wolf Among Us is noir style mystery that follows the sheriff of Fabletown, Bigby Wolf (reformed from his old days of eating Grannies and terrorizing pigs) as he tries to get to the bottom of a gruesome series of murders. It's up to you to decide how he conducts his investigation; will he keep his cool or let the wolf in him take over? The game is full of twists and turns, with a plot thicker than curds and whey; it's guaranteed to keep you guessing until the credits roll.
 

Step 1 (Play the game)

All these trophies are straight-forward. All you need to do is play the game however you feel like it and you will earn the majority of the trophies just through progression. I would suggest just playing through all the episodes and once you beat the game, go back and rewind to earn the missed Fable entries, though you can go and earn them right after you finish each episode if you wish to do so.

If you are missing any Fables after you beat the game, now is the time to collect them. To rewind to a chapter, you will want to go to the chapter that you wish to repeat for the Fable and select it. It will ask you to pick a save file. Choose an empty one and not the one you are currently playing on because it will override your current progress. For further information on the missable Fables, please check each episode trophy for the Fables.

  • Completed Chapter 1 of Episode 1.

    Story related, cannot be missed.

    • Go through the dialogue options with Mr. Toad at the start of the game.
    • When you get control, pick up the matches on the floor in front of you to the right and then head to the door on the right. Knock or kick open the door.
    • Talk to The Woodsman and the mystery chick and go through the dialogue options.
    • Get through the unavoidable altercation with The Woodsman.
    • Give the mystery chick the matchbook and go through the dialogue options.
  • Completed Chapter 2 of Episode 1.

    • Walk down the street until you’re in front of the gate of The Woodland Luxury Apartments.
    • Open the gate and make your way to the apartment until you’re stopped by Beauty.

    • From the kitchen walk around to the living room and wake up Colin on the chair and have a lengthy chat.
    • After waking up from your nap, go to the door and answer the knocking.
    • Talk with Snow White.

    • Grab the security jacket and talk with Snow White.
    • Examine the mouth and remove the item. Then finish examining the rest of the head.
    • Continue to investigate the area and go right.
    • Examine the blood trail on the ground and then continue to head right.
    • Examine the scrap of fabric on the ground.
    • Walk to the gate in front of you and examine the fence post.
    • Go to Snow White and use the fabric.
  • Completed Chapter 4 of Episode 1.

    • Talk with Ichabod Crane, Snow White, and Bufkin.
    • Once you’re in control, go to the Magic Mirror and talk to it and go through the dialogue options it gives you.
    • Walk to your right where Snow White and Bufkin is and check out the Book of Symbols on the table. Hit and check out the ring on the page.
    • Go back to the mirror and check out Prince Lawrence.
    • Talk to toad on the phone and then exit using the office door.
    • Choose to either go to Toad’s or Lawrence’s Apartment.

    Picked Toad’s Apartment

    • Leave the apartment and head downstairs
    • Go to the door and check out the sobbing.
    • Open Mr. Toad's apartment door.
    • Talk to Toad and have a look around.
    • Look at the lock on the door behind you.
    • Check out the broken lamp in front of you.
    • Head to your left and go down the stairs. Check out the stain on the wall next to the right side of the fireplace.
    • Examine the fireplace poker on the floor in front of the fireplace.
    • Catch Toad in a lie by asking about his hand.
    • Examine the dust ring on the table stand next to the red chair, and catch Toad in a lie about the lamp.
    • Open the window and examine the marks on the sill.
    • Catch Toad in another lie about not needing his keys and call him out on it.
    • Check out the object in the fur and decide what to do with the letter.
    • Go up to Lawrence’s apartment door and open it.
    • Check out Lawrence.
    • Go to your left and enter the kitchen.
    • Use the sink and go back to Lawrence and give him the water.
    • Examine Lawrence again and check out the gun next to him and the shell casing.
    • Examine the knife next to Lawrence.
    • Examine the bullet hole on the wall.
    • Open the panel to your left and check out the note on the bed.
    • Go left and open the closet.
    • Chase after the guy and follow the command prompts. Choose the left door with the swinging number.
    • Once you catch up to him, talk with him until you get knocked out.

    Picked Lawrence’s Apartment

    • Go up to Lawrence’s apartment door and knock, try to open, and knock again.
    • With no answer, go back to the corner and check out the open window to your right.
    • When inside, check out Lawrence, and examine the bullet wound.
    • Pick up the gun next to Lawrence and the bullet casing.
    • Examine the dagger on the floor next to Lawrence.
    • Examine the bullet hole with the gun and then pull it out.
    • Examine the blood stain on the carpet and then pull on the panel.
    • Read the note on the bed.
    • Talk with Lawrence.
    • Try and stop the intruder.
    • Follow the command prompts on the foot chase and choose the left door with the swinging number.
    • Get through the foot chase and talk to Dee.
    • When you’re back in control, walk straight to the doors.
    • Open Mr. Toad's apartment door.
    • Talk to Toad and have a look around.
    • Look at the lock on the door behind you.

    • Get through the unavoidable fight with Gren and choose whether to rip off his arm or not.
    • Choose whether to go after Dee or The Woodsman

    You’ll gain all but one of the Fables entries for Episode 1 through natural progression. To gain the last one you’re missing, go back to the last chapter (Chapter 6) and pick the "Rewind" option. It'll prompt you to pick a save file. Pick an empty file so you don't overwrite the choices from your initial playthrough. Go through Chapter 6 again and when faced with the choice with Gren at the end, choose the opposite from which you picked before.

    There are 11 Book of Fables entries in Episode 2, most of these will be found naturally throughout the story. Below is a list of all the entries and where they can be found in each chapter. Pay particular attention to #4 in Chapter 3 as it is missable. You will also need to rewind Chapter 2 to complete either #1 or #2, depending on the choices you made during your original playthrough.

    A small note for unlocking fables in Chapter 3. Fable #4 event happens before #3. So when you get #4 before #3, you didn't miss it, it just happens later in the story.

    • Go up the hall and enter Crain's apartment.
    • Go into the room where the phone and answering machine is located and examine the statue on the desk. This will give you the Headless Horseman.
    • While at the desk, examine the drawer and look at the envelope. When finished, take the key underneath.
    • Go to Crane's bedroom door and use the key to enter and confront Jack.
    • Go to the Twins place and talk to Flycatcher. This will give you the fable for him. Next you will head to the bar.
    • Talk with Gren and the Woodsman
    • When in Holly's room, examine the cot twice and when she moves her hand, grab the box.
    • Examine the photo in the box, then the book while talking to Holly in between.
  • Completed Chapter 5 of Episode 3.

    Story related, cannot be missed.

    • Choose how you want to enter Aunty Greenleaf's apartment.
    • When you get into the apartment, examine the tree in the room, the partition, and the closet door.
    • Talk with Snow and Aunty Greenleaf and decide whether to burn the tree or not. You will get Glamour Tube for sparing it, and Glamour Tree for burning it.
  • Completed Episode 3: "A Crooked Mile"

    Story related, cannot be missed.

    • Go through the dialogue options until you confront Crane.
    • Talk with Bloody Mary and the Twins.
    • Make your final choice on whether to spare or kill Dee.
  • Unlocked all Book of Fables entries in Episode 3.

    You should have gathered all but one fable if you followed the guide or if you visited certain areas in an specific order. If you are missing one, then you'll need to rewind Chapter 5 and make the opposite choice at the end of the chapter.

    If you're missing more than one, here is a list of all the missable fables and how to obtain them:

    • Troll Funeral Rites: Chapter 2 - Do not interrupt Snow's speech. Go to the table on the left and view the cards.
    • Headless Horseman: Chapter 4 - Crane's apartment on top of his desk. View the statue. It's best to visit here first, just not last. If you go their second, make sure you tell Bluebeard you're heading their first.
    • Flycatcher: Chapter 4 - At Dee and Dum's Office, you'll talk to Flycatcher. It's best to visit this place second, just not last.
    • Glamour Tube: Chapter 5 - Spare Aunty Greenleaf's tree.
    • Glamour Tree: Chapter 5 - Burn Aunty Greenleaf's tree.
  • Completed Chapter 1 of Episode 4.

    • Another QTE event will take place. if you jump on Georgie's car. After, you'll reach Georgie's Place. If you jumped on the Limo, you'll be knocked unconscious. You'll eventually wake up and go to Georgie's place.
  • Completed Chapter 3 of Episode 5.

    Story related, cannot be missed.

    • Enter Georgie's place, go down the hallway and talk with him (if you jumped on the car, Vivian will be alive still.)
    • Decide to kill or leave Georgie to suffer.
    • When you arrive at the Sheppard Metalworks, enter through the main door and continue through the big metal double door into the main part of the facility.
    • Take a left and go straight past the board with the pictures and across the walkway and you'll end up in a room with a workbench. Examine the bench to view the silver bullets.
    • When you confront Bloody Mary, make sure when the dialogue option comes about, pick "Hey, I'm talking to you" to get Bloody Mary to mention your mother to unlock a Fable.
    • Search for Bloody Mary and complete the QTE event with her to finish your epic battle.
  • Completed Chapter 4 of Episode 5.

    • Talk with the Crooked Man.
    • Decide to kill or spare the Crooked Man.

    • Talk with Snow White and the community to discuss about what you've done to the Crooked Man and past events.

    • Back at the Woodland Apartment complex, go through the small conversation with Snow White.
    • Go through the dialogue options with Toad and TJ.
    • Go through the dialogue options with Nerissa.
    • Pick to go after Nerissa or leave her alone.
  • Unlocked all Book of Fables entries in Episode 5.

    After completing Episode 5, you might not have any fables missing depending on your dialogue choices in Chapter 3. If you do, you'll want to rewind to Chapter 3 to get it the one you missed.

    The only Fable you should be missing, if you are missing any, is the third one. In order to get this, when you confront Mary in the Sheppard Metalworks facility, there should be a dialogue option "I'm talking to you". You must pick that in order for her to mention Bigby's mother and get the "Winter Wolf" Fable entry.
